Never Stop Dreaming

I have another four cards that I created with the Simple Stories Simple Vintage Flower Shoppe, I expect you are getting a little bored with these!

I used the cover sheet to create the background on my first card along with a punched border, the focal image and embellishments are all from the sticker sheet.

For this card I used one of the tags, some of the papers and some stickers - I fussy cut the butterfly from one of the papers, there is a whole sheet full of butterflies.

This time I used two more of the tags, some ephemera and more fussy cut butterflies.

For my final card I used more ephemera and some stickers.

That's all for now, hopefully catch you again soon.

Deckside Dreams

I am sharing two more cards that I created when I took part in the Spellbinders Weekender 2025, this time we used the Deckside Dreams die set.

The first card was created with Suzanne Hue, a new designer to me - she was very enthusiastic and funny, I will certainly be checking out her YouTube channel.

We cut all of the pieces for the cruise ship from Spellbinders ColorWheel Cardstock that was provided with the Weekender kit, I love the colour combination on this card.  The sentiment is from the Escape the Ordinary Sentiments.

The second card was created with Kim Kesti, Kim hosts the event and I have to say she does a great job.  This time we created the background with the Blue Shimmer Spray that was part of the collection, we spritzed the cardstock and then inked through the Villa Tiles stencil.  The ship was then cut from the ColorWheel Cardstock along with the sentiment from the Dolce Vita Banner Dies.

Thanks so much for visiting today, I will be back in a couple of days with some more cards, I hope you will join me then.

Believe in Yourself

I have another four cards created with the Simple Stories - Simple Vintage Flower Shoppe collection.

This time all four of my cards feature a bicycle, on this card I have used a topper from the collection along with a sentiment from the sticker sheet and three of the papers.

For this card I created a photo frame using a rectangle die and a rounded corner square die along with stickers from the sticker sheet.

This card features another of the toppers, a fishtail flag cut from one of the Vintage Basics papers and flowers from the cardstock pieces.

On my final card the bicycle is from the cardstock pieces, the sentiment and flowers are from the sticker sheet and I have also added a couple of fishtail banners.  All of my cards are embellished with fussy cut butterflies.

Bye for now, hopefully I will catch you again soon.

Beyond the Door

I recently took part in the Spellbinders Weekender 2025, I love these events - I took part in the 2024 event as well.

This is my favourite card from the event, it was designed by Jennifer McGuire and is a Z-fold design.

We began by partially inking the top left and bottom right corners of the coloured card base using the Villa Tiles Stencil.

We used the Beyond the Door dies to create the arch door and sea view, the flowers and greenery are also part of the die set.  Finally we used the Escape the Ordinary Sentiment stamps to create the heat embossed sentiment strip.

Thank you so much for visiting today, I will be back in a couple of days with some more cards from this event, I hope you will join me then.

All the Smiles

I have four more cards to share that I have created with the Simple Stories Simple Vintage Flower Shoppe Collection, all four of these cards contain butterflies.

For this card I cut a strip of butterflies from one of the papers and layered it onto a piece of dotty paper from the collection, I punched the scalloped border - the words are from the sticker sheet.

For my second card I die cut three different butterflies from one of the papers using a nested square die and rounded the corners, I also cut one of the sentiments in the same way.  I popped the four squares up using foam pads and separated them from the patterned papers using velum.

I cut more of the butterflies and a sentiment using the nested square die and rounded the corners again.  This time I popped them up in a row and edged the panel with a punched scalloped border.

For my final card I cut a section from one of the patterned papers and layered it onto a spotty background with a scalloped edge.

That's all for now, hopefully catch you again soon.
