Some like it HOT!

This is  my third GDT card for the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge and the theme for this fortnights challenge is - For a Male.  Make sure you pop over the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge blog for more details and to check out the fabulous DT inspiration and great prizes.

My card is for one of the boys to give my husband, he loves to cook and we grow chili peppers in our green house so this image seemed ideal.

The papers are from Joanna Sheen's Royal Horticultural CD and the decoupage image is from Joanna Sheen's House Mouse Food and Drink collection, I have used black card stock from my stash for the base.  I used some red corrugated card stock and some black string from my stash.  The sentiment is a LOTV stamp on a spellbinders ribbon banner die cut inked with distress inks.  The little chili pepper embellishments have been cut from the backing paper and glazed with 3D Crystal Lacquer.

You can just about see the decoupage layers in this photograph.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Creative Moments Challenge 18 - Lots of Layers
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Stamp 'n' Doodle - So Many Layers
C.R.A.F.T. Challenge 209 - Father's Day/Male

Paper Crafting Journey Challenge - Masculine Cards!
The Alphabet Challenge Blog - H for Happy
Creative Corner Challenge 21 - Boy oh boy
Creative Inspirations Paint - Father's Day

Thank you for popping in today, don't forget to take a look at the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge blog to check out the fabulous DT inspiration and join in with the 'For a Male' challenge.

Great card, very hot looking. LOL. I could not help but to laugh out loud when I saw that little mouse getting a boost from his friend to get a drink to cool off his little mouth. This is a darling image and you did a wonderful job with it. Enjoy your week.

This would be a perfect card for my hubby - he loves spice food and uses chili peppers in all his cooking! I love spicy food too, but from time to time it has happened that I've wanted to do just like the mouse on this card... Fun card!
