Fly High

It's time for a new challenge at Digi Choosday, the theme for the Design Team is Use a design sheet but you can enter an Anything Goes project if you like.

I decided to use a design sheet from the fun Helga Hippo collection to create my card. I printed the sheet twice so that I could add a decoupage layer.

I added one of the beautiful papers from the collection along with a sentiment.

The only thing that is not from the collection is the hand made card candi.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Incy Wincy Designs - So So Cute
Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge 56 -  Always Anything Goes

Snowman Greetings

It's time for a new challenge at Christmas with the Cuties and the theme for this one is Add some Holly.

I have used an adorable image called Snowman and Bird from our sponsor - Sasayaki Glitter to create my card.

I coloured my cute Snowman with Spectrum Noir Illustrator Pens and used papers from the Carta Bella So This Is Christmas Paper Pad.

The sentiment tag is from Polkadoodles and I fussy cut some holly from a scrap of paper that I had in my stash.

I added some glitter to the snowflakes and some 3D Crystal Lacquer to the holly berries.

Make sure you pop over to the Christmas with the Cuties challenge blog and take a look at the Design Team inspiration, we would love for you to join us for our Add some Holly challenge.

The Finer Things

I would normally be posting a CD Sunday DT card today but I have made the difficult decision to step down from some of my Design Teams due to some ongoing health issues and sadly CD Sunday is one of them.  I have also stepped down from Di's Digi Designs and Pink Gem Designs - I just don't want the pressure of creating to a deadline and using specific products quite so much at the moment.

I wanted to create a card for a gentleman that likes the finer things in life so I reached for my Crafter's Companion Downton Abbey CD.

I decided to use one of the card companions to create an easel card.

I added a few extra layers and used foam pads to add the image and sentiment.

Thank you for calling today, your company is much appreciated.

It's your Birthday

This is one of the cards that I created for the new Joanna Sheen Cardmaking Collection - Issue 2 produced by Practical Publishing. It is AMAZING value at only £12.99 - there is a free die, embossing folder, set of stamps, backing papers and a floral stencil  - plus of course a 68 page magazine full of inspiration!

I was commissioned to create 5 cards using the fabulous products included with the magazine.

I used the embossing folder along with one of the beautiful papers, a topper and sentiment from the paper pack for this card.

The only thing that I added is a seam binding bow.

Thank you for visiting my blog today, please leave a comment so that I can come and visit you.
