Trinket Box

I have been using up some of my old stash for a change! I used the Dovecraft Couture du Jour collection to create this trinket box.

You can find a card that I created with this collection HERE.

I inked the edges of everything and used two of the decoupage images I also used papers from the 8" paper pad.

The sentiment is from the co-ordinating stamp set, I stamped it on one of the papers and fussy cut it.

I also lined the little drawer with one of the papers.

Thank you for visiting my blog today, your company is much appreciated.

Village Life

This is another card created using the new Hunkydory Country Days Collection, this time I used one of the Deco-Large card kits.

You can find more projects created using the Country Days collection HERE.

I decided to layer up the Deco-Large image on the outside of the card front so that you can look through the aperture at the image on the inside of the card.

There are lots of layers to the decoupage giving great dimension to the image.  I just added a sentiment from one of the topper sets.

My husband came across an acronym yesterday that he thought suited both him and me, he is a modeler, he builds a variety of different things from, cars and trains through to Warhammer gaming models.  The acronym is SABLE - Stash Accumulated Beyond Life Expectancy, have you heard it, it definitely applies to me!

April Showers

This is one of the cards that I created for the January edition of Making Cards & Papercraft Magazine, I used the adorable Hey Little Piggy Craft Paper Collection that was one of the free sets that came with the magazine - I thought he was quite appropriate for the weather we have been having lately.

You can find more cards created for the Making Cards January Edition HERE.

The purpose of these cards is to show what you can create with the minimum of extras, all I added to create this card is some card stock and a stamped sentiment from Hunkydory.

Thank you for popping in today, your company is much appreciated - please leave a comment so that I can come and visit you.

A Summer Day

I created this card for the recent launch of the Hunkydory Country Days collection, it is now available in the Hunkydory shop.

Hunkydory is having a Member's Week on their website with lots of offers including double discount on everything in the store, make sure you pop over and take a look - it's free to join if you are not already a member.

You can find more projects created using the Country Days collection HERE.

I used a topper and sentiment from the Luxury Cardmaking kit, papers from the Paper Pad and a strip of card stock from the Adorable Scorable Matt-Tastic card stock collection.

Vintage Fashion

I have been using up some of my old stash for a change!  I used the Dovecraft Couture du Jour collection to create this card.

I inked the edges of everything and layered up the decoupage image with foam pads.  I also used papers from the 8" paper pad and a sentiment from the co-ordinating stamp set.

The little accordion heart also comes with the collection, I carefully removed the button and threaded it with twine, before sticking it back on - I really do not like bare buttons.

I like this fold, I'm not quite sure what it is called - I think it may be a collar card.  All I have added is some co-ordinating card stcok and a little ribbon and twine from my stash.
