Mother's Day Daisies

This is the Mother's Day card that I made for my Mother-in-Law this year, I find it very difficult to create cards for family and close friends!

I used papers, cardstock and dies from the Nature's Garden Delightful Daisies collection by Crafter's Companion, the sentiment is an unbranded die.

Mum

This is the card that I created for my Mother in Law for Mother's Day.  I apologise for the rubbish photographs, I can't seem to win at the moment - it's either very dark or very bright!

I used papers from Craft Consortium and a decoupage topper from Hunkydory, I added a little verse on the inside - hubby doesn't like anything 'soppy', his word, not mine.

Mr & Mrs

We went to my Brother-in-Law's Wedding on Friday, they have been together for fifteen years and decided to marry at last - this is the card that I made for them.

I used a combination of Crafter's Companion, Sue Wilson and Tonic dies to create my card - the panel, Mr & Mrs and rings are all Crafer's Companion dies, the plain and scalloped hearts are Tonic and the pierced square is a Sue Wilson die.

We had a fabulous day, the bride looked lovely and the weather was kind to us.  This is a photo of the happy couple.

Christmas Robin

This is the Christmas card that I have created for my Mum this year, I'm quite safe to share it as she most definitely will not see it here.

I have used a Hunkydory Designer Deco Large topper and card stock, it is from one of their older releases.  I added sentiments from The Paper Boutique and some gold mirri card stock.

There are lots of fabulous decoupage layers, I have not used quite all of them and I printed a verse on the card stock from the collection to decorate the inside of my card.

Happy 18th

It was my Great Niece's Birthday last week as well, we have lots of Birthdays in November, it was my Husbands on Sunday - I will share the cards that I made for him later in the week.

I used the Hunkydory Confetti Burst collection along with some gold Mirri card stock.  I also used a selection of Crafter's Companion dies and some Moonstone gems.

I decorated the inside of the card with some of the papers and a stamp from the DIgi Stamp Boutique.

21st Birthday Wishes

This is the card that I created for my eldest son to give his brother for his 21st Birthday.

I used papers from the First Edition Wild at Heart paper collection along with some free number dies that came with a magazine.  The tag was made with my Hunkydory Fancy Edge Tag Punch and the sentiment is a Memory Box stamp.

Wild at Heart

This is the card that I created for my eldest Son to give his Dad on Father's Day.

For this one I used the First Edition Wild at Heart paper pad along with some dark brown card stock.  The sentiment was computer generated.

As before I created an insert with a verse from the internet.

It looks like summer is back, at least for a while - we will probably take Ramsey in to town this morning, he likes a walk around the high street because everyone makes a bit fuss of him.

Cheers Lad!

This is one of the cards that I created for my sons to give their Dad for Father's Day. This is the one that my youngest son gave him - I used the Wallace and Gromit 'Cracking Tea Gromit' Die and Sentiment stamp along with the corresponding Character Charisma Pad.

My inspiration came from one of the design team cards that was on the original Create and Craft TV Shows.  I used the sentiment stamp to create the background behind the image and the bone papers are from the Splash Crafts Paw Prints USB. I die cut a couple of toppers so that I could create some decoupage and computer generated the sentiment.

I used some more of the bone papers to create an insert,

Family Christmas 2018

I am going to make a conscious effort to do more scrap booking next year so I thought I would start with some family photographs from Christmas day.

I used some Dovecraft Heritage Christmas papers and some old alphabet stickers from my stash.

The Graduate

My eldest son graduated from Reading University this year - he achieved a first in his Primary Education degree, he also received a first for his dissertation and was marked as outstanding for his school placement, we are very proud of him.

He has almost completed his first term teaching and I have eventually managed to create a layout using a photograph of him just before he handed in his dissertation along with one of the photographs from his graduation ceremony in July.

I decided to print the photographs in black and white, it was so sunny (also very hot) on the day and the photographs are all very bright which made it difficult to find papers to go with them - I'm pleased to say he liked the end result.

Christmas Advent

I made another of my Christmas Advent calendars using the Lawn Fawn Tiny Gift Box die and Celebration Countdown die, this one was for my Mother-in-Law..

I used some old Christmas papers from my stash, I have lost the front cover so unfortunately I don't know the make.  They are quite easy to make but rather time consuming, the little bows take the longest.  I heat embossed the scalloped circle and the numbers and then die cut them all.  I filled it with a selection of chocolates and I'm pleased to say my Mother-in-Law loved it.

You're the Star

This is the second card that I made for my son's to give their Dad this year.

My youngest chose this one, I used the Hunkydory Special Days collection.

All I have added are some die cut stars - I also decorated the inside.

Happy Father's Day

This is one of the cards that I made for my son's to give their Dad this year - I have been so busy with DT projects that I haven't shared either of them yet!

My eldest chose this one, I had a feeling that he would - he is the more conservative of the two.  The papers and topper are from the Simple Stories Plaid Dad collection, I saw these and had to buy them because of one of the toppers - it will be perfect for my husband's birthday card.

All I have added is some black card stock and die cut stars, the inside has been decorated as well.

Thank you for visiting my blog today and thank you for all of the lovely comments that you leave - they are all read and very much appreciated.

Happy Christmas Mum

This is the card that I have created for my Mum this year.

I have used a decoupage topper from Jayne Nestorenko that has been in my stash for ages and used the largest die from my Sue Wilson Ornate Holly Framed Noel die to frame the image.

The papers are from the First Edition - The Gift of Christmas paper pad and the sentiment is from LOTV.  I decorated the inside of my card using the same design as the front.

I would like to enter this card into:

Christmas Gifts

This is the card that I have created for my Mother-in-Law, I have to admit that it is not one of my favourite cards but I know that she will like it.

I used an image from a Hunkydory Little Book and the papers and tags are from an older Hunkydory Christmas collection.  The Christmas sentiment is a Britannia die from Joanna Sheen and the Mum is a Simon Says Stamp die.

Son in Law - CD Sunday

It's time for a new challenge at CD Sunday and the theme for the next fortnight is Make it Male chosen by Carol. Don’t forget to use something from a CD somewhere, however small, in the making of your card or project and give the CD credit.

I used a topper and papers from the Crafter's Companion Camden Town CD to create my card.

The sentiment also comes from the CD, I also added some candi that I made myself by punching out small circles and covering them with 3D Crystal Lacquer.

I have decorated the inside of my card, I'm doing well so far this year!

Make sure you pop over to the CD Sunday Challenge blog and check out the DT Inspiration - we would love for you to join us for our Make it Male challenge, just make sure you use something from a CD somewhere, however small, in the making of your card or project and give the CD credit.

Thank you for calling this morning, please leave a comment so that I know you've been and will be able to come and visit you.
