So Egg-cited!

I have been making some Easter Cards with the Violet Studios Hoppy Easter collection that I picked up  from Crafter's Companion.  Everything I have used to create these four cards is from the collection apart from some scraps of ribbon and twine from my stash.

I used a  Tim Holtz die to create the label on this card along with a scalloped edge die from Clearly Besotted.  The gems are from Hunkydory and the ribbon and twine are from my stash.

All I have added to this card is a gem from Hunkydory, everything else is from the Hoppy Easter collection.

The stitched square die on this card is from Hunkydory, it is an older die that I was given when I was on their design team back in 2019.

I used the Easter egg die from the Sara Davies Easter Signature Collection from last year along with some older Die-namics oval dies to create the little basket and some more gems from Hunkydory.

I'm sorry if I haven't managed to get around to visit everyone yet, I promise I will shortly.  Thank you for visiting my blog today and thank you for all of the lovely comments that you leave, they are all read and much appreciated.

Winter Wonderland

This is another card that I have created for one of our neighbours, it is the same design as one I made previously using the Sara Signature - Poinsettia Perfection collection, this time I have used the Sara Signature - Winter Wonderland collection.

I used four of the papers and cut the Poinsettia with the die from the Poinsettia Perfection collection.  I cut the banners with my Die-namics Fishtail Flag Dies, the silver star is an unbranded die and the foliage was cut with some Tim Holtz dies.

21 Again

My eldest son asked me to create a 21st Birthday card for a friend of his and this is what I came up with.

I used some very old papers from my stash along with some dark blue card stock.  The 'happy' is a Tim Holtz die and the 'BIRTHDAY' was made using my Memory Box Alphabet Tile Letters, they are actually square but I decided to trim them into a different shape.  I used some old number dies that I have lost the packaging for and added some hand made card candi.

Thank you for popping in today and thank you for all of the lovely comments that you leave - they are all read and very much appreciated.

Good Times

It was my husband's Birthday last week and this is the card that I created for my eldest son to give him.

I used all old stash to create this card, the dies are all Tim Holtz, I'm not sure whose the papers are - the letters, compass and label were all fussy cut from one of the papers.  The 'BIRTHDAY' is from the Alt & New Label Love stamp set.

Birthday Cake

It was my husbands Birthday yesterday and this is the card that I made for our youngest son to give him.

I created the background with Distress Oxide inks and used my Tim Holtz Birthday Blueprint stamps - these have been sitting in my stash for ages so I thought it was time that I had a play with them!

I created the sentiment with my Dymo Label Maker.

Floral 21st

This is the final 21st Birthday card that I made for Hannah, this one was from me and hubby.

I used the beautiful Petals & Parasols Collection from NitWit Collections.  I created the rosette with my Tim Holtz die and layered it onto a Spellbinders scalloped circle die cut - the numbers were cut with a Tonic die.

The sentiment is a Die-namics die and I stamped and fussy cut some Joy Crafts flowers - the leaves are a Sue Wilson die.

I decorated the inside of the card using the same papers and an insert from the NitWit collection.

Happiness is ...

This is a first for me, I have actually managed to make a card with my Love from Lizi August card kit in August - I have never managed to use a kit in the month that I received it before!

Everything on my card is from the kit with the exception of the Kraft card stock and some Distress Ink.

I have inked the edges of everything and added 3D Chrystal Laquer to the little apple in the centre of the rosette.

Watercolour Thank You

This is my card for this weeks Less is More Challenge - the theme is Pierce Your Project, I'm afraid I went for the easy option and used my Sue Wilson Pierced Rectangle Die.

I finally got around to using my new Distress Oxide inks, I swooshed them onto some watercolour card stock and then stamped the Altenew flowers and leaves.  I fussy cut them and attached them to my die cut rectangle.

The sentiment is from the same Altenew stamp set as the flowers, I think it is called 'Adore You'.

I would like to enter this card into this weeks Less is More Challenge - Pierce You Project.

Birthday Fun - Quick Cards

I was invited to join the Quick Cards Made Easy Reader Design Team for this month and was sent the lovely Picnic themed bonus papers to create a card.

My card wasn't included in the magazine but it should be in the digital edition and will be on the Quick Cards website and Facebook stage at some point.

I used three of the pretty papers and one of the sentiment tags to create my card.

I used a Tim Holtz die to create the rosette and just added some ribbon and twine to the tag,

I enjoyed working with these bright picnic themed papers and am pleased to say that I have been invited to be on the Design Team for the next two issues as well.

Matthew

This is the second half of the gift that I made for my eldest son and his girlfriend as a housewarming present - you can find the other half HERE.

I used an Anna Marie Designs MDF Plaque and Letter along with papers from the Sara Davies Shabby Chic Signature Collection. I sanded the edges of everything and added distress ink.

The rosettes and large stars are Tim Holtz dies and the small stars are an X-Cut punch.

I'm pleased to say that they liked them, they are currently sitting on the mantle piece in their new home.

Thank you for popping in today.

I used my Tim Holtz Paper Rosette Die and a 1” Circle Punch to make the rosettes, I just added a pearl to the centre of them and used hot glue to adhere them to a heart frame.  The sentiment is also from the Ooh La La Collection.

There is a step by step guide on how to make this wreath in the magazine along with a free download for the heart frame so make sure you pick up a copy.
