Spring Daffodils

This is another card that I created with the free gift that came with the latest Hunkydory Cardmaking Collection. There are four sets of toppers all with co-ordinating cardstock, papers and inserts. I have created three cards with one sheet of the toppers and this is the second of them - you can find the first one HERE.

I used three of the small toppers and attached them all to a square of adorable scorable patterned card stock that is also part of the collection.  I have just added some gold Mirri card stock and gold Diamond Sparkles.

I have another card to share using the Crafter's Companion Gemini Decorative Outline Dies, this is the Floral Arrangement cut from White Stamping Card.

I used papers from the Crafter's Companion 12 x 12 Printed Paper Pad - Vintage Florals and paper pieced the flowers. I computer generated a German sentiment because the card was created for QVC TV.

Foiled Snowflakes

I finally got my Crafter's Companion Foilpress Machine out and had a go with it just before Christmas  and I have to say I was really pleased with how well it worked.

I used one of the large background dies, one of the smaller sentiment dies and a snowflake die cut from gold Mirri card to create this card.

I also added a little verse to the inside of the card.

I would like to enter this card into the January Rudolph Days Challenge.

Lattice Bon Bon Box

This is the final Favour Box that I created for Die-cutting Essentials Magazine.  I used the Bon Bon Box from Crafter's Companion.

I cut the box from Centura Pearl card stock and then cut the panels into the box so that you can see what is on the inside.  If you have this die you need to make sure that you burnish the folds really well before you make up the box, especially the curved edges - use your fingers.

Twofer Hearts

I decided to enter the Twofer Card Challenge, I've often thought about it but haven't had the time until now.  It is Challenge 23 and the theme is Hearts so I thought I would use the dies from one of my Tonic Craft Kits, I haven't had time to use many of them either!

I used dies from Tonic Craft Kit 16, specifically the scalloped heart die and the die that cuts out the hearts on both of my cards.

I used both dies for the Valentine card along with a sentiment from the Crafter's Companion Sentimentals Greetings - Heartfelt stamp collection.

For the Wedding card I used the same dies along with the larger frame that is also part of Tonic Craft Kit 16.  The Mr & Mrs is from the Sara Davies Rustic Wedding Signature Collection and the papers are from the Tonic Craft Kit.

I would like to enter this card into the Twofer Card Challenge 23 - Hearts.

Hoppy Easter

This is the third project that I created for Crafter's Inspiration Issue 25, I was asked to create three off the page projects using the Easter Treats Digi collection.

I used papers and a sentiment from the Easter Treats collection from the free CD along with my Crafter's Companion Stitch Edge Oval and Rectangle nesting dies, if you are interested there are more detailed instructions in the magazine.

I would like to enter this plaque into the CD Sunday Plus Challenge 27 - Anything Goes as long as either a CD, USB or digital download - or any combination thereof – has been used in the making of your project.

Gold Ditsy Bloom

I have a CAS card to share today, I created it with the Crafter's Companion Decorative Outline Dies, this one is the Ditsy Bloom.

I cut the die from white Stamping card and then again from gold Mirri Card, I inset the gold outline into the white die cut and then paper pieced all of the white segments.  Quite time consuming but quite a simple process.

Christmas Candles

Unfortunately this is not a new Christmas card that I have created, I have vowed to get ahead with my Christmas cards this year but have not managed to make any yet!  This is one that I made last year for one of my neighbours.

I used my Hunkydory Stepping into Christmas Deco Large collection, I love the dimension you can create with these.

Baby Blue and Silver

This is another of the Crafter's Companion Favour Boxes that I created for Die-cutting Essentials Magazine Issue 60, I think this is my favourite box from the collection - it is the Trinket Box.

I cut the base of the box from pale blue Centura Pearl and cut the panels from the base, I then placed silver glitter cardstock behind the panels so that it shows through.  These boxes are quite simple to put together, just make sure that you burnish the score lines really well.

Easter Surprise

This is another of the projects that I created for Issue 25 of Crafter's Inspiration Magazine, I was asked to create three off the page projects using the Easter Treats Digi collection.

I decided to create a simple exploding box to put some little Easter eggs in.  I cut the box from Crafter's Companion Stamping Card - this card is perfect for card bases and construction.  To decorate the box I used two of the papers and some of the toppers from the digi collection along with some red solid paper also printed from the CD.

I just popped some chocolate Easter eggs into a cellophane bag and secured it with a ribbon to complete my project.

Fun and Games

This is the card that I created for my youngest son to give to my eldest son for his Birthday.

I used my Hunkydory Sporting Favourites Picture Perfect Pad, you get a fantastic range of artwork in these pads, you get four sheets of each design so they are perfect for creating decoupage as well.

Mr & Mrs

We went to my Brother-in-Law's Wedding on Friday, they have been together for fifteen years and decided to marry at last - this is the card that I made for them.

I used a combination of Crafter's Companion, Sue Wilson and Tonic dies to create my card - the panel, Mr & Mrs and rings are all Crafer's Companion dies, the plain and scalloped hearts are Tonic and the pierced square is a Sue Wilson die.

We had a fabulous day, the bride looked lovely and the weather was kind to us.  This is a photo of the happy couple.

Lavender Honeycomb Box

This is the third favour box that I created for the latest edition of Die-cutting Essentials Magazine, I created five in total - you can find some of the others HERE.

I used the Honeycomb Favour Box die to create this one, I cut the base from Lavender Centura Pearl cardstock and the panels from Precious Metals Luxury Cardstock.  The tag and sentiment are also from the die collection, the ribbon is from my stash.  These boxes are relatively easy to make up, you just need to burnish the folds really well and shape the curved edges with your fingers before making them up.
