18th Birthday Shadow Box

It was a friend's 18th Birthday just before Christmas and this is the gift that I created for her, it matches the card that I shared HERE.

I used the Authentique Flawless collection, the numbers were cut with Tonic dies, the Happy Birthday is a Marianne CrafTables die and I used my Memory Box Alphabet Tile Letters to cut out her name.

I suppose everything will get back to some sort of normality tomorrow, not much will change for us, both me and hubby are retired, the only difference will be our youngest son will be working from home.

Thank you for visiting today, please leave a comment so that I can come and visit you.

Happy 18th Birthday

It was a friend's 18th Birthday just before Christmas and this is the card that I created for her.

I used papers from the Authentique Flawless collection and created a shaker card.  The sentiment is from The DigiStamp Boutique, sadly no longer trading, I also used my Inverted Stitched Rectangle Dies from Crafter's Companion.  I found a nice verse on the internet for the inside of the card.

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas, it was relatively quiet here - just me, hubby, the boys and MiL, I like it like that.

A Milestone Birthday

My Sister will be celebrating a milestone Birthday next month and this is the card that I have created for her.

I used a Tattered Lace Die along with some of the new Floral Favourite Snippables from Hunkydory, I'm still not sure about the Snippable concept, it is quite a fiddle.  I decorated the inside of the card and added a nice verse.

Starry Skies

This is the final 50th Birthday card that I created, I used the free Galaxy papers from this months Making Cards Magazine.

I decided to create another shaker card, the number dies are from Tonic and the happy birthday is a Poppy Stamps die, I also snipped the 'th' from the Poppy Stamps die so that it matched perfectly.

Eleanor

I have another 50th Birthday card to share today, this time I used papers and elements from the NitWit Eleanor collection.

I printed the beautiful flowers several times so that I could fussy cut them and layer them up with foam pads, the sentiment is from The DigiStamp Boutique.  I found a nice verse and added it to the same paper that I used on the front to decorate the inside.

Happy 50th

My neighbour asked me to make a birthday card for her Daughter who turns fifty next month, this is one of the cards that I created but I didn't give it to her because I don't like it very much - I think it's the sentiment.

I created a Shaker card, the paper is from the Crafter's Companion Nature's Garden Nativity collection, I don't think you would know that they are Christmas papers though.  The glasses are also from Crafter's Companion and another Christmas collection - Gemini Celebrate the Season dies.

21 Again

My eldest son asked me to create a 21st Birthday card for a friend of his and this is what I came up with.

I used some very old papers from my stash along with some dark blue card stock.  The 'happy' is a Tim Holtz die and the 'BIRTHDAY' was made using my Memory Box Alphabet Tile Letters, they are actually square but I decided to trim them into a different shape.  I used some old number dies that I have lost the packaging for and added some hand made card candi.

Happy 21st Birthday

My youngest son was 21 on Tuesday and this is the card that I made for me and his Dad to give him.

I used my Spectrum Noir Harmony Water Reactive Dreamy Blues Dye Inkpads to create the background,  The numbers were cut using my Tonic number dies and I computer generated the sentiment words before doodling around the outside.  The balloons are free clipart that I printed onto some more of the inky background and fussy cut.

We went out for a lovely family dinner to celebrate, that't both of my lovely boys all grown up now!

I used a Hunkydory kit, everything is from the kit except some silver mirri card.

I used a Memory Box die to create the Nan sentiment and also decorated the inside.

21st Birthday Wishes

This is the card that I made for my youngest son to give Hannah for her Birthday, we went out for a lovely meal with her and her family to celebrate on Saturday night .

Special Birthdays

It's time for a new challenge at Digi Choosday, the theme for the Design Team is Special Birthdays but you can enter an Anything Goes project if you like.

I used three beautiful papers from the Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Springtime Download Bundle to create my Special Birthday card.

The papers in the Polkadoodles collections are so gorgeous and perfectly co-ordinated, they are just right for using on their own to create cards like this.

I computer generated the sentiment and added a seam binding bow and some pearls from my stash.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Come and Get It Challenge - It's a Girl Thing
sCrafting When We Can Challenge 143 - One for the Girls

Twenty One

This is my card for this weeks Less is More Challenge, I've only just managed to scrape in this week - better late than never!

As soon as I saw the theme of  'Alphabet' this idea popped into my head - I don't know why, it's more text than alphabet but I hope it's OK.

It is a friends 21st Birthday next month and as the card will be posted I though that this CAS design would be perfect.

I used my Tonic Number dies to cut the '21' from black card stock and just placed the text, which I computer generated, behind it. The sentiment is a Woodware stamp heat embossed with white embossing powder.

I would like to enter this card into the Less is More Challenge 316 - Alphabet.

Thank you for calling today, your company is much appreciated.

I used beautiful papers from the NitWit Collections – Bundled Enchanting Collection, I love the colours.

The sentiment is from the Milestone Word Art collection from the Digi Stamp Boutique, this is a really useful collection of sentiments and being digital you can print them whatever size you wish.

To embellish my card I just added some ribbon and a button from my stash.
