Happy 18th

It was my Great Niece's Birthday last week as well, we have lots of Birthdays in November, it was my Husbands on Sunday - I will share the cards that I made for him later in the week.

I used the Hunkydory Confetti Burst collection along with some gold Mirri card stock.  I also used a selection of Crafter's Companion dies and some Moonstone gems.

I decorated the inside of the card with some of the papers and a stamp from the DIgi Stamp Boutique.

Thank you for popping in today and thank you for all of the lovely comments that you leave - they are all read and very much appreciated.

Fashion Essentials

It is my Niece's Birthday next week and this is the card that I created for her.  I have used a kit from craftsUprint called Fashion Essentials.

I printed some extra copies so that I could add a few extra layers of card stock between the background layers, there are also lots of decoupage layers so lots of fussy cutting - I haven't done much fussy cutting lately and I had forgotten how relaxing I find it.

I added a Joanna Sheen die cut sentiment along with a computer generated one, I also applied some Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the pearls and decorated the inside with the insert from the kit and some extra card stock.

Birthday Song

This is one of the cards that I created for the October edition of Making Cards Magazine, I used the Facebook bonus papers.

The aim of these cards is to show what can be created with the papers with minimal additions.  All that I have added to create this card is some card stock and a scrap of ribbon from my stash.

The sentiment is one that I found in my stash, I think it might have been from an Ooh La La CD.

Making Cards - Birthday Girl

This is another of the cards that I created for the May Edition of Making Cards Magazine. I was commissioned to create 12 cards for this issue using the free craft papers - I hope you managed to pick up a copy, the images and papers are fabulous.  You can see more cards using the free craft papers HERE.

The aim of these cards is to show what can be created using just the free images and papers along with a few basic stash items - all I have added to create this card is some card stock, a sentiment and ribbon.

I also used some Spellbinders circle dies and a Fiskars edge punch.

Party Dress

Our family have a few Birthdays in December so I thought I would have a break from Christmas cards and share one of the Birthday cards I have created.

I have used my Crafter's Companion  Sugar and Spice CD to make this girly card, there are lots of pretty toppers and papers on this CD.

I printed the topper twice and cut out the image so that I could layer it up on a scalloped circle and add some dimension with foam pads.  The sentiment is also from the CD, I have just added some pearls from my stash.

Thank you for popping in today, please leave a comment so that I can come and visit you.
