Crafting for all Seasons 1st Birthday Challenge and Blog Hop

It's Birthday time at Crafting for all Seasons, the challenge has been going for a whole year and to celebrate we are having a Blog Hop.  But first thank you to everyone who joined us for our Handmade Flowers challenge we had so many beautiful entries, I do hope you will all join us again this week for our Birthday Celebrations.  The challenge this week is 'It's a Celebration' with Buttons - we would like you to use some buttons on your project.  This is what I have made:

I wanted to do something a little bit different for our 1st Birthday so I made a 1st Birthday card and matching Gift Bag.  The image is from TeddyBo and the papers are Echo Park - Little Boy, they have been hiding in my ever growing paper stash for ages.

I coloured the image with ProMarkers and paper pieced the number one and added some Crystal Lacquer to it:

The border was cut using Spellbinders Edgeabilities Classic Ric Rac, I cut the sentiment from a Crafty Pad Ticket Sentiment and backed it on the same red Core'dinations card stock that I used throughout.  The buttons and thread are from my stash:

As usual, I have decorated the inside of my card to complement the front:

I used the same image, papers and layout for the gift bag:

and also decorated the back to complement the front:

I apologise for the number of photographs but I wanted to show everything, it took me so long to make it all I was nearly late for the challenge.

I would like to enter this card and gift bag into the following challenges:

Lollipop Crafts Challenge 80 - Just for Him
The Pink Elephant Challenge 148 - Polka Dots and Stripes
Sentimental Sundays Challenge 102 - Birthday - Buttons
Joanna Sheen Challenge - Happy Birthday
Cupcake Craftroom May Challenge - Photo Inspiration
Robyn's Fetish Challenge 107 - Paper Piecing
LEJ Designs Challenge 3 - Lots of Layers
Totally Papercrafts Challenge 116 - No Pesky Girls Allowed
Little Claire Monthly Challenge 21 - Male Theme
Desert Islands Crafters Challenge 31 - Angela's Itinerary (For a Boy/What's your number/Something Old - papers/Something Blue)

Now on to the Blog Hop - as it's our FIRST BIRTHDAY at Crafting for all Seasons we are having a blog hop to celebrate.  The hop begins and ends on the Crafting for all Seasons Challenge Blog.  If you've arrived from Lizy's blog you're on the right track, if you are just popping by to say hello you may want to pop over to the Challenge Blog to join in the whole hop.

At each of the DT's  blogs you will find a letter, once you have collected them all, leave a comment on the challenge post telling us which word the letters spell.  You must leave a comment on each DT blog as you hop and one commenter on each of the blogs will win a prize, my prize is:

A set of Kanban Damask Divas - Let's Go Shopping Clear Stamps

My letter is A, now all you need to do is pop back to the Challenge Blog and leave a comment telling us the word.  If you get lost along the way there is a full list for the hop on the Challenge Post.

Good Luck!  Make sure you pop over to the Crafting for all Seasons Challenge Blog and check out the DT inspiration, we would love for you to join us for our Birthday Celebrations.

That's it from me for today, I hope I haven't bored you to tears, see you again soon.

You Make Me Proud

Good Morning, this is a card I've made for the latest Teddy Bo Challenge - Teddy Bea Only.  I chose the image 'A moment on the hips' and coloured it using ProMarkers.

I've had these First Edition Papers  - Love letters - sitting on my desk for a while now and decided that I really should use them instead of just looking at them, it really is a shame to cut into them though, they're so beautiful.  The card stock is Core'dinations again and the ribbon and flowers are from my stash.  I used my Martha Stewart Doily Lace edge punch to create a border because I thought it matched the lace on Bea's top and stamped a sentiment to finish.

I decorated the inside of my card to complement the front.

Image: Teddy Bea - A moment on the hips
Papers: First Edition - Love letters
Tools:  Spellbinders - Scalloped Circles, Martha Stewart - Doily Lace punch
Embellishments: ribbon, gems and flowers from stash
Sentiment:  LOTV

I would also like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Freshly Brewed Month Long Challenge -  Use 2 patterned papers, 2 shapes (circles and rectangles) and 2 embellishments (flowers and ribbon)
Moving Along with the Times - Cute and Cuddley with a Punch (Martha Stewart Doily Lace)

Thank you so much for looking today.

Two Today!

Good afternoon everyone, this is my entry for the TeddyBo Challenge - Anything But A Card.  I really struggled with this one as I usually only make cards.  In the end I decided to make a Photo Frame and a Door Hanger for a two year old.

I used one of the TeddyBo Number images, coloured with ProMarkers, these are really useful for children's birthday cards as you can colour them according to who they are for.  My Picture Frame is for a little boy, hence the blue, green and yellow colour scheme.

I paper-pieced the number two and the balloons using HOTP 'Citrus' papers and added some little strings to the balloons.

I also added some bunting cut from the same papers and joined together with string along with some extra balloons.  Full details of everything I have used are listed below.

One final photograph of the door hanger which I have decorated to match.

Papers:  HOTP ' Citrus'
Card stock:  Core'dinations White Wash
Embellishments:  string from stash

Thanks for looking today, I hope you have a lovely weekend.

You Brighten My Day

I really am cutting it fine tonight, this is my card for the Sketch Saturday Challenge which closes tonight.  I have chosen the Teddy Bea image 'When you wish upon a star' and teamed it up with some First Edition papers.  Full details of everything I have used are listed below.

I have added several die cut stars as embellishments and edged everything in gold.  The tag is an idea that I got from Bente's DT card.  The inside of my card is decorated to complement the front.

Give Us A Hug

This is the card I have made for this weeks Teddy Bo Challenge and it sure was a challenge.  I thought I would try a Centre Step Card as this weeks challenge is Shaped Cards - no squares or rectangles allowed.  It looked quite easy on the tutorial I found on the splitcoaststampers site but it certainly kept me quiet for a while.  I used my lovely new Memory Box Valise papers and Teddy Bo 61 - Bo Scared!! Bo needs a cuddle.  Full details of everything I have used are listed below.

I have decorated the inside of my card to complement the front.

Please excuse my photography, this is not the easiest style of card to photograph for the inexperienced.

Papers:  Memory Box Valise
Tools:  Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Ovals
Embellishments:  buttons, string and ribbon from stash

Thank you for looking.

Father You're a Star

Good afternoon everyone, thank you for stopping by today to see my latest creation.  This is a card I have made for the Teddy Bo Challenge 10 - Teddy Bo Only, I have used the image You're a STAR Bo and coloured it using ProMarkers, to finish it I just added a little Glamour dust around the outside of the Star.  Full details of what I have used are listed below.

For the first time I have decorated the inside of my card to match the outside rather than using a printed insert.

To complete my card I have added computer generated sentiments backed onto matching card stock, my aim was to make them look like little labels, I seem to have a bit of a thing about labels at the moment.

Image:  Teddy Bo You're a STAR Bo
Papers:  ECHO PARK Little Boy
Tools:  Spellbinders Wonky Squares (on the inside of the card)
Embellishments: corrugated card, buttons and raffia from stash
Sentiment:  computer generated

I would also like to enter this card into the following challenges.

Cards for men - Someone Special - you can't get much more special than a DAD
A Spoon Full of Sugar- Anything goes
Stamps R Us - Goin' Digital - I used a Teddy Bo digital image
Craft Us Crazy - something new and/or a favorite embellishment - my ECHO PARK papers are new and I love making little label sentiments to embellish my cards.

Thank you for looking and I hope to see you again soon.

Wish Upon A Star

Good Afternoon, I hope everyone is well.  My card today is another from Teddybo.  This one is Teddybea 003 and as usual I have coloured her using ProMarkers.  Full details are listed below.   I am entering this card into the Teddy Bo Tuesday Challenge 9  - Easel Cards.

It's ages since I made and Easel Card and it turned out to be quite a marathon, it took me three days.  Having said that I have had lots of non craft related things on recently so time has been a little limited.  I'm still not completely happy with it and would have liked to spend a bit more time on it but have to make cards for MIL's birthday so time has run out.

I'm not quite sure how to best photograph an Easel Card not having done so before, so I have taken loads of pictures.  My photography skills leave a bit to be desired, so please accept my apologies.

I always find it difficult to know where to write on Easel Cards so I die cut a little label to put inside just for that purpose.  I promise this is the last photo.
