Pretty in Peach

As another new week begins it's time for a new challenge at Ooh La La Creations, our theme for this fortnight is - Vintage/Nostalgic - you don't have to use an Ooh La La Creations product but we love it when you do.

I have used a fabulous image and papers from the Ooh La La Creations  - Yesterday's Memories CD, you can purchase it from the Ooh La La Creations online shop.

I have stamped the corners of the papers with an old LOTV stamp using distress ink and inked the edges of the papers.  The base card stock is Core'dinations and I have also die cut some corners from the card stock.  I have distressed some seam binding and some floral lace (I managed to cover most of this up) and added some flowers and pearls from my stash.  The sentiment is LOTV.

Vintage Transport

This is the birthday card I have made for my niece's husband, I don't quite know what relation that makes him?

I don't really know him that well and I'm not sure what his hobbies or interests are so I have opted for a traditional male card:

The decoupage image is from a Hunkydory kit that I have had for ages - I have cut it out with one of my Spellbinders dies and cut a slightly larger dark brown mat to layer it onto.  The text backing paper is also from the kit and I have layered it onto some more of the dark brown card stock.  I used my favourite Fiskars edge punch for the border and my X-cut die to cut the small star.  The sentiment is recycled from an old birthday card.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Aud Sentiments Challenge 78 - For a guy!
Inky Impressions Challenge 105 - Punches/Dies
Paper Pretties Challenge 254 - Happy Birthday
Die Cuttin' Diva's Challenge 111 - A Star for Astronomy Day
Papertake Weekly Challenge - One Paper Taker
Shopping Our Stash Challenge 97 - Text or Letters (text backing paper)

Thanks!

This is my card for this weeks CD Sunday challenge, the theme is 'Thank You' and I decided to use my lovely new stamps and dies from Clearly Besotted, the CD element on this card is the stripy backing paper from my Bearly Mine Designs Designer Extreme CD.

I followed the sketch from Seize the Birthday and then remembered that it had to be a Birthday card - it was a nice sketch anyway!  The sentiment is from one of  Joanna Sheen's Wordy stamps collections and I have stamped it onto a Spellbinders die cut and inked the edges, I added a border made with one of my  X-cut border punches.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

The CD Sunday Challenge - Thank You
Allsorts Challenge Week 203 - A Passion for Flowers

Christmas Stocking

It's time for a new challenge at Winter Wonderland, our theme for you this week is Christmas Stockings and I've made another traditional card:

I am still on a mission to use all of the kits that I bought when I first started crafting and this decoupage image is from a kit that I bought from Create and Craft.  Of course I couldn't use it as it was intended - I have cut the image out and layered it onto some gold mirri, I have embossed some cream card stock recycled from an old Christmas card and also recycled an old sentiment.  The red base layer is some flocked card stock that was also in the kit and the red holly leaves are from another kit that I have had for ages, the gems are from my stash.

This week we have two fabulous sponsors

First we have Crafty-Emblies who are offering a £10 goody bag

and we also have Delicious Doodles who are offering 4 digi images of your choice
