Thanks!

Good morning, I hope everyone is well and enjoying the new week. We have a new challenge for you at Bearly Mine Designs and this week the theme is - Shapes - we would like you to make a shaped card.

This is the card I have made using gorgeous papers from the Bearly Mine Designs Simply Dots and Spring Delights sets.

This is quite a different card for me, I rarely make a card without an image but I got this idea from Mandy's Blog - A LITTLE SPACE OF MY OWN - go and check out her work, she has some stunning projects on her blog.

I made the flower by printing some of the flower embellishments from my Crafter's Companion Strawberry Kisses CD on to the back of my Bearly Mine paper and then cutting them out, the border across the middle is a Martha Stewart punch and the little butterfly was a gift from Tracy at Dies to Die For - she always puts lots of lovely die cuts in with your order.

Card Recipe:

Tools:  Martha Stewart edge punch, Marianne CreaTables LR0164
Embellishments:  Crafter's Companion Strawberry Kisses CD,
gems from stash and the butterfly was a gift from Dies to Die For

Sparkle and Shine

It's Thursday morning again and it's my turn to host the Willow Sketchie Challenge this week. This is the sketch I have for you

and the theme I have chosen for the week is

Sparkle and Shine
I would like to see some glitter, gems, or gloss etc.

Don't forget - you don't have to follow both the sketch and the theme unless you want to, one or the other will do just fine.

I chose this theme to challenge myself as much as everyone else because, as anyone who knows me will be aware, I rarely use glitter on my cards.  This is the card I have made

Fairy Dance has been coloured with a combination of ProMarkers and FlexMarkers, I also coloured some white Seam Binding to match.  I have used Ice Stickles on her wings, around the outside of the image and on the butterfly embellishments.  This is the first time I have ever used stickles and I love them - will now have to buy some more!  There are also some small gems on the butterflies and on her crown that has also had some gloss added.

This is the inside of my card that has been decorated to match the front

Card Recipe:

Card Stock:  Dies To Die For - Kraft
Tools:  Martha Stewart - Edge Punch, Die-namics - Butterfly Die,
Spellbinders - Classic Rectangles

I demand a RECOUNT!

Good afternoon, at least the weather is a little better today, I wonder how long it will last.  It's time for another challenge over at Crafting for all Seasons and this time we would like to see your cards or projects for Men - this is my card:

I used the fun image 'Gus Birthday - Recount' from Bugaboo who are one of three sponsors we have for this challenge.  I have coloured him with a combination of ProMarkers and FlexMarkers - I also coloured the Card Candi to match the image and papers.  Full details of everything I have used are listed below.

As I mentioned we have three fab sponsors this week:

Bugaboo Stamps - Prize - 7 digital images
Lili of the Valley - Prize - £10 Gift Voucher
Digi Doodle Shop - Prize - $10 Gift card

I have decorated the inside of my card to complement the front:
