Special Days Cupcake


Good Morning everyone, it's time for a new Challenge over at The Crafty Pad and the lovely Diane has chosen the theme - Cake - so we would love to see all of your lovely projects with cakes on them, I feel hungry already!

I have used the rather lovely 'Cupcake' image from this weeks sponsor The Stamping Boutique who are offering one lucky winner 3 digi images of their choice.



My fab image has been coloured using ProMarkers and I have added glaze to the cherry and hundreds and thousands.  Full details of everything I have used are listed below.

At the Seaside

It's time for a new challenge at The Crafty Pad and this week it is my turn to host, I have chosen the theme:

AT THE SEASIDE

For my card I have used The Stamping Boutique - Ice Cream Truck Digital Stamp and The Crafty Pad - Happy Birthday Ticket Sentiment.  The image has been coloured with ProMarkers and I have used  papers from my Echo Park - Little Boy collection, everything is layered onto Core'dinations card stock.

April Showers

I coloured the image with FlexMarkers and added some sparkle with a Sakura pen, unfortunately it doesn't show up very well in the photograph.  I followed the sketch from this weeks Sketch Saturday.  Full details of everything I have used are in the Card Recipe below.

Time to Party

It's Crafting for all Seasons Challenge time again and this time we would like to see your 'SHAPED CARDS' so no squares or rectangles.

We have three sponsors again this week:


I chose to use the image 'Max' from The Stamping Boutique and I made this round card:



I found a picture of a vinyl record on google, printed it, cut it out and then sprayed it with some Crafter's Companion Spray and Shine.  I coloured Max with my Spectrum Noir Pens and cut him out with a Spellbinders Large Pinking Circle die.  I inked lightly, with the die still in place, with some black soot distress ink and mounted the image directly onto the record shape.  The sentiment stamp is from LOTV and is stamped onto a smaller pinking circle that has received the same treatment as the image.

Post Girl

This is the second of my DT cards for the new challenge over at Crafting for all Seasons, our theme this time is Snowmen or Snowflakes.

Tulip Fairy

This is my second DT card for the Crafting for all Seasons Challenge, we are sponsored by Whoopsie Daisy and The Stamping Boutique and the theme this time is Fairies.  This card uses the beautiful Tulip Fairy image from The Stamping Boutique.


I decided to make a round Easel Card.  The image has been coloured with ProMarkers and I added some glitter to her wings and the stars in the background.   I cut the image out and mounted it onto some pink card stock that matched the colour of the tulips.  The swirl is one of  Spellbinders Floral Flourishes and the flowers are from my stash.

Christmas Elf

This is my second DT card for the Crafting for all Seasons Challenge, the theme this week is Christmas Cards.

We have two great sponsors again, Meljen's Designs and The Stamping Boutique and this card  has been made using the 'Smoochie the Elf' image from The Stamping Boutique:


I coloured the image with ProMarkers and added some glitter to the hat.  I cut the image out with a Spellbinders Labels Eighteen die and inked the outside before mounting it on a mat made by drawing around the outside of the die and cutting it out.

The papers are from NitWit Collections and everything has been layered onto Core'dinations card stock.  The embellishments are from the same NitWit Collection and the card candy is from my stash.

Give Thanks and Celebrate

This is my second card for the new Crafting for all Seasons Challenge which has two great sponsors again this week, The Stamping Boutique who are providing a great prize of either 3 digi images or 1 digi paper pack and Bugaboo Stamps who are offering a fantastic 7 digis as a prize.

We don't really celebrate Thanksgiving in the UK but I decided to make this card using The Stamping Boutique image 'Audrey the Pilgrim' anyway:


I followed this weeks sketch from the Sketch Saturday Challenge.  I coloured the image with ProMarkers and cut it out using a Spellbinders die, Kraft card stock has been used as a base and for the sentiment.  The backing paper is from Joanna Sheen's 'House Mouse Inserts CD' and the flowers, buttons and bakers twine are from my stash.  Full details of everything I have used are listed below.
