A Gift from the Heart

I'm back again, two post in two days - it wont last!  I found time to have another play with my Heartfelt Creations Wild Rose Collection, this time I decided to make an Easel Card.

I used one of the toppers, I cut out the circular centre and layered it up with foam pads, two of the papers, a couple of fussy cut sentiments and lots of the beautiful flowers and leaves, I also added some foliage cut with a Sue Wilson die and an unbranded die from my stash.

Eastern Charm

I'm still trying to use up some old stash, this time I've used the Hunkydory Eastern Wishes Luxury Card Collection - I have lots of Hunkydory in my stash, lots from when I was on their Design Team and lots that I've purchased myself and I have to admit that I don't really like all the gold on them anymore!

I created this card using a couple of the toppers, you get two of each design so I decided to fussy cut some bits from one to layer up, I also used one of the papers from the Luxury Inserts and Papers collection, one of the A4 cardstock sheets and a sentiment.

I will share another card that I have created with this collection soon, I have cut away all of the gold foil to create a more simple card and am in the process of making another one without the gold foiling but a more fussy and fancy design.

Beautiful Lilies

I made quite a few purchases during the recent Crafter's Companion 16th Birthday Celebrations and I'm trying to make sure that I actually use them, here I am sharing a card using two of the collections.

I created the Easel Card base using the outline die from the Intri'lace Floral Fretwork Dies, and cut two panels from white cardstock using the fretwork die, I added some colour to them with Distress Ink and adhered them to the base.  I cut the floral centrepiece from the topper pad using the matching dies, it's a bit difficult to get them to line up so I ended up cutting two sets and used some of them as the stopper for the easel.  The little sentiment tag is from my stash, I think it was from an old card.

Seasons may change ...

I have created this shaped easel card using a topper and papers from the Hunkydory Autumn Days collection, I often find it difficult to use the toppers these days, I think it is all of the gold on them!

I fussy cut a sentiment from another topper and used it as the stopper for the easel and added a fussy cut butterfly and bow, the sentiment reads "Seasons may change but our Friendship remains", I thought it was really nice.

Forever Remembered

I have combined two Hunkydory Moonstone die sets to create this card, I used one of the Floral Favourites Snippables and one of the Filigree Flowers Collection, I think they match perfectly.

I decided to create an easel card and used the Lilly die from both sets, I only used four layers of the snippables, there are eight if you really like lots of decoupage layers, I used two more layers on the base of the card along with a die cut sentiment from the collection.  The green layer of papers is part of the paper pad that contains the images and the peach is from a very old Anna Marie Designs paper pad.

Blue Blooms

This is the last card, for now, that I have created with my Hunkydory True Blue collection - I'm trying to use up some of my older Hunkdory collections, I have rather a lot from being on their Design Team for some time.

This is another of the larger toppers so I decided to create an Easel Card.  I used a Hunkydory Moonstone Die to cut the shaped edges and cut the flowers with a Tattered Lace Fleurs Die.

White Rabbit

I have created another card with my Stamperia Alice collection, it was inspired by Kathy by Design's card kit that is available from the Button Farm Club.  It is an easel card with a little step at the front, I'm not sure what it is called - an easel step card perhaps.

I have used several of the papers along with a topper, there are also lots of fussy cut bits and bobs.  I have inked the edges of everything and layered the elements up with foam pads for dimension.

Fall Colours

Autumn is really here in my neck of the woods now, the trees are quite beautiful at the moment and this inspired me to get my Authentique Splendor collection out.

Two of the papers are from the Splendor collection and one is from the Pleasant collecion, all of the elements are from Splendor.  I used my new flower dies, Spellbinders Autumn Flora by Susan Tierney-Cockburn, to cut the flowers and leaves.

Autumn Harvest

I have cut into my Authentique Calendar Collection at last, I love this collection - there are four sheets for each Month, a sheet of toppers, one of sentiments, one patterned papers and one solids and they are all double sided.

I was inspired by Kathy Clement, she makes the most wonderful Calendar Easel Cards - mine is not as embellished or complex as hers.

I fussy cut all of the elements and used foam pads to create some dimension, the sunflowers are a Marianne CreaTables die and the buttons and twine are from my stash.

Happy Birthday to You

I have finally managed to get back into my craft room now that it has cooled down a bit, my craft room is south facing and it was so hot I couldn't craft, even with a fan, during the recent heat wave.

I created this Birthday card using the Authentique Poised Collection, I just love the sunny yellows, I apologise for the photographs, it was such a miserable day today when I took them!

I have created another Easel Card, there is a pocket on the front with room for a tag.

Inside there is another pocket with a small card containing a gift card. I created the flowers with my Tattered Lace Flower Forming dies and the leaves are a die that came with a card kit.

Many Happy Returns

I decided to have a play with one of my Paper Boutique Collections, I chose the A Summer Garden Papers and Toppers and created another easel card.

This is such a pretty collection, I love the pastel blues and added some pale blue cardstock, the small sentiment is part of the topper collection and I cut the circular sentiment on the base from one of the circular toppers.

I decorated all of the panels on the base of the card and created a little pocket, it acts as the stopper as well as holding a small card that I placed a gift card in and added my message.

This is the small card that holds the gift card and message.

Fresh Style

I decided to create an easel card with my Graphic 45 Farmhouse collection, this is the last project featuring the Farmhouse collection for a while - I still have lots left though, so I'm sure you will see more in the future.

I created a little pocket in the base of the card so that I could add a tag, you could pop a gift card on it or just use it to write your sentiment.  I used my Tattered Lace Flower Forming Dies to create the flowers, I cut them from some of the Patterns and Solids papers, I cut the leaves using a die from my stash.

A Christmas Easel Card

I decided to create an easel card with a difference for a change, it looks quite normal at the moment doesn't it!

Until you open it up that is, I also created a little pocket so that I could add a couple of little tags.  The papers and image are from the Ciao Bella Time for Home collection, the poinsettia and sentiment are dies from Sue Wilson's Festive Collection.

Butterfly Easel

This is a card that I created for my eldest son's girlfriend.  I used one of the Crafter's Companion Create-a-Card Easel dies.

I used Kraft card stock and card from the Roaring Twenties card pack.  The 'Happy Birthday' die is from my stash, I'm not sure what brand it is.  I cut a couple of additional flowers and butterflies so that I could layer them up for dimension.

Your Own Kind of Beautiful

This is another of the cards that I created using the Square Die Collection that is now available on the Creative Crafting World Website.

You can find more cards created using this collection HERE.

I decided to create an Easel Card, these dies are perfect for creating shaped cards. I used some of the dark green card stock from the Pink Paradise Card collection along with one of the pretty papers and sentiment toppers.

I used the flower and leaf dies that are part of the Square Die collection and added some of Lynda's Pearls that are also available on the Creative Crafting World Website.

The Harbourside

Have you been watching the Hunkydory Happiness is... Deco-Large blockbuster on Create and Craft, there is another show today - that is if it hasn't sold out!

This is another of the samples that I created for the shows, this time I used the fabulous Harbourside set.

I have created another easel card, this time I have used one of the Aperture Domes, they are perfect for protecting the decoupage.

The matching card stock, corners and sentiment are all part of the set, again, all I have added is some gold Mirri card.

Dancing the Night Away

Did you see the launch of the new Hunkydory Happiness is... Deco-Large collection on Create and Craft last night, if not, Anne-Marie will be back at 9 am and again at 4 pm today.

This is one of the samples that I created for the shows using the stunning Dancing the Night Away set.

I decided to create an Easel card using this beautiful topper and decoupage layers - you can create so much dimension and everything is die cut ready for you to pop out and layer up.

The card stock, sentiment and corners are all part of the collection, all that I have added is some gold Mirri card.

Feeding the Chicks

This is another card that I created for the recent launch of the Pollyanna Pickering CD and Paper Collection - Garden Visitors. The collection uses revisited artwork from Chapter I in the Sketchbook Collection with the addition of a beautiful Robin collection.

My samples didn't make it for the show, the Post Office managed to deliver them to the wrong sorting office and despite them reaching the correct depot late on the Friday night they sat there all weekend waiting to be delivered!

You can find more cards that I created using the CD and Paper Collection HERE.

For this card I used the fabulous Paper Collection, the only thing that I added is some of Lynda's card stock and a scrap of ribbon, a button and some twine from my stash.

There are lots of beautiful toppers included in the kit, all shapes and sizes.

Emerald Butterflies

This is another of the cards that I created for the launch of the new Hunkydory Whopper Topper Pads. I used the Butterfly Beauty pad to create this card.

You can find more cards created using this collection HERE.

I used the Scalloped Corner Rectangle dies to create the Easel Card base, they match the shape of the topper perfectly.

The sentiment is also part of the Whopper Topper sheet, I fussy cut some butterflies from the second topper to add dimension.
