Sweet 16

This is the final Milestone Birthday card that I created for Making Cards Magazine.

I used beautiful papers from the NitWit Collections – Bundled Enchanting Collection, I love the colours.

The sentiment is from the Milestone Word Art collection from the Digi Stamp Boutique, this is a really useful collection of sentiments and being digital you can print them whatever size you wish.

To embellish my card I just added some ribbon and a button from my stash.

Thank you for visiting my blog today, please leave a comment so that I can come and visit you.

18th Birthday Shaker

The new edition of Making Cards Magazine was published on Friday so I can now share one of the cards that I created for last months edition.

I created three Milestone Birthday cards using the beautiful NitWit Bundled Enchanting Collection, this one is to celebrate an 18th Birthday.

The colours in this NitWit collection are beautiful and as I had some sequins in the same colours I decided to create a shaker card.

I fussy cut the flowers and layered them up for dimension, the sentiment is from the Milestone Word Art collection from the DigiStamp Boutique.

Thank you for calling today, your company is much appreciated.

The images are Modern Flowers from the Digi Stamp Boutique, I printed them onto Kraft card stock and coloured them with my Spectrum Noir colouring pencils, the sentiment is also from the Digi Stamp Boutique.

Modern Flowers

This is the card I have made for this weeks Less is More Challenge, it's One Layer week and the theme is Thank You.

I made a card for the challenge before I realized it was One Layer week, unfortunately I had layered the image onto black card stock so I had to go back to the drawing board and make another.  This time I drew a black box around the image to make it look like it had been layered.

I enjoyed colouring these images so much that I ended up making two cards - you can never have enough Thank You cards.

I have seen this style of card on You Tube lately and thought I would have a go, the only problem was I didn't have any stamps that would work so I popped over to the Digi Stamp Boutique and found these fabulous Modern Flower images.

I printed them onto Kraft card stock and coloured them with my Spectrum Noir colouring pencils, the sentiment is also from the Digi Stamp Boutique.

I would like to enter my cards into the following challenges:

Less is More Week 171 - One Layer Thank You
Fan-Tastic Tuesday Challenge 35 - Clean and Simple
One-Layer Simplicity Challenge 5 - Fabulous Flowers

Wonderful Husband

This is the final card that I made for my husband's birthday, this one was from me.

If you follow my blog you might remember a previous card that I made with a dog on it for my youngest son 'A dog named ROY'! A dog named ROY is a bit of a joke in our family - the boy's in the house would all like to get a dog and my husband has told them that if we do he will call it Roy! Don't ask me why because I don't have a clue, but I'm sure you can imagine what the boy's think of it. Well this is what I imagine ROY would look like.

The image is from the Digi Stamp Boutique Wallace collection, I have coloured him with ProMarkers and cut him out with an oval Die-namics die , The papers are from Studio Calico and I have used my favourite Fiskars edge punch for the border. I computer generated the sentiment and added some ribbon and card candy from my stash.

I decorated the inside of my card to match.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Good afternoon everyone, I hope you are all safe and warm.  They have forecast more snow here this evening and tomorrow and we haven't got rid of the last lot yet!

This is another CAS card, I have to say I'm beginning to like making these, they take a lot of planning but they are quite satisfying when they are finished.

For this one I have used the Valentine Bird Collection and Simply for Valentines set from the Digi Stamp Boutique, some red card stock, some white card stock and a Sizzix Heart Die.

I have kept the inside very simple as well, just using the sentiment and one layer of red and one of white card stock.

Perhaps it's a bit simple, I haven't really made my mind up yet!
