A Glass of Wine

I made this card for my Mum to give to my Brother-in-Law, he is really difficult to make for as he has no hobbies or anything!

I used a topper from Joanna Sheen's Anna Browne Cardmaking Pad and paper from Joanna's Thomas Kinkade CD.

The sentiment and name are Britannia Dies.

Special Wishes

Less is More is celebrating it's 5th Birthday this week so I had to make a card and join the celebrations.

I've actually made two cards and I'm not particularly happy with either of them, I will share this one today.  I have used the Beautiful Butterfly Dance die from Sarah Davies' Signature Collection.

I used a Memory box stencil to emboss the background and the leaves are a Britannia Die, the sentiment stamp is from Craftwork Cards and has been embossed.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Less is More - White on White
Crafter's Cafe Challenge 142 - Monochromatic
Sparkle N Sprinkle February Challenge -  Anything Goes: use loose glitter, embossing powder and/or flocking

Happy Birthday Matt

This is the second card that I made for my eldest son's 18th Birthday, this one is a little more simple than the first one.

The papers are from the Crafter's Companion Camden Town collection and I have inked the edges with distress ink.  The tags are a Lawn Fawn die, the stars are an X-cut die, the Happy Birthday Matt was cut using Britannia Dies and the 18 is a Die'namics die.  I have heat embossed the 18 and the stars with clear embossing powder to make them shine and stand out a little, the ribbon is from my stash.

Birthday Boy

I made this card for a very good friend of my eldest son, he has just turned seventeen, probably one of the most difficult ages to make a boy's card for.  He's not really into sport or anything so no help there then!.

The papers are My Mind's Eye, from the Miss Caroline Dolled Up collection, there are some floral ones in the pack but quite a few of them are suitable for masculine cards.

I used a Sizzix die to cut the label and a Britannia Die to cut the sentiment, the large star is an X-cut die and I punched the smaller stars and added some 3D Crystal Lacquer to them.

I have also made a matching tag to go with my card.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Aud Sentiments Challenge 88 - Any Sentiment
Shopping Our Stash Challenge 116 - For the Boys (papers from stash)
Allsorts Challenge Week 222 - It's all about the sentiment

Eclectic Ellapu Challenge - It's Sentimental
PanPastel Challenge 35 - Spots and Dots

Thank you so much for joining me today, I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone that takes the time to visit my blog and leave a comment.
