Photo Inspiration

It's time for a new challenge at Winter Wonderland and we have an inspiration photo for you this week.  I have used a Digi Stamp Boutique image for my card and I was inspired by the snowman and the warm rustic colours.

I have used papers from Bearly Mine Designs and coloured my image with ProMarkers.  I cut some red snowflakes with a Spellbinders die and added some snowflake embellishments from my stash.

Special Day

It's time for a new challenge at Crafting for all Seasons and our theme for you this time is 'Wedding/Anniversary', I have made my card using a gorgeous image from Joanna Sheen's Thomas Kinkade CD.

The papers and the image are from the CD and I have layered everything on Silver Mirri, the lattice is a Cheery Lynn die and the sentiment, ribbons and gems are all from my stash.

Inspired by Nature

It's time for a new challenge at Ooh La La Creations and it was my turn to choose the theme this time and I have chosen 'Inspired by Nature'

I have spent most of my life living in the country and love everything to do with nature, so 'Inspired by Nature' was the obvious choice for my challenge theme.  As you will see from the fabulous DT inspiration the options for this challenge are endless, you could choose from animals, flowers, country scenes, gardens - anything you like really as long as it has something to do with nature, I can't wait to see what you create - you don't have to use an Ooh La La Creations product but we love it when you do.

I decided to keep things quite simple again and have used a fabulous image and papers from the Ooh La La Creations  -  Carnival of Colour CD, you can purchase it from the Ooh La La Creations online shop.

I have layered everything onto black card stock from my stash and punched the border with my Fiskars edge punch  The sentiment tag is LOTV and the string and card candy are also from my stash.

Time to relax

This is my entry for this weeks CD Sunday challenge, the theme is 'Go Green' and I knew exactly which image I wanted to use as soon as I saw the theme, the only problem was I didn't know if I would manage to find the time to make a card as my Dad is still in hospital and I am taking Mum to visit him every other day at the moment.  I have managed to make this quite simple card:

As you can see I have chosen to use the colour green, the image is from Joanna Sheen's Silly Summer House Mouse Decoupage collection and the backing paper is my CD element - it is from the new House Mouse Triple CD Collection.  I have embossed the green card stock and punched the edge with a Fiskars edge punch.  The ribbon is from my stash and the sentiment was on the decoupage sheet.

This is the card that I made for my Brother-in-Law, I love this cute little DigiStamp Boutique Murphy image, I think he is perfect for a male card.

I coloured Murphy with ProMarkers, cut him out with a Spellbinders Standard Circle die and mounted him onto a Scalloped Circle die cut. The papers are from the HOTP - Nonna's Garden collection, I've had these in my stash for ages, and the die cut corners have been cut with a Die-namics die. I have made a little collar with some card stock and a buckle.  The card candy is from my stash and my sentiment was computer generated and printed on a DigiStamp Boutique Simple tag.

I have decorated the inside of my card with the same papers.

Good morning, I hope everyone is well and enjoying the new week. We have a new challenge for you at Bearly Mine Designs and this week it's everyone's favourite - Anything Goes

I have used the adorable 'Playful Dino'  image from Meljen's who are one of our sponsors this week along with fabulous papers from the Bearly Mine Designs The Boys Zone collection.

I have gone with a CAS design and coloured my image with ProMarkers, the sentiment is a LOTV stamp and the only embellishments are some string coloured to match and some card candy made with small punched circles and 3D Crystal Lacquer.
