Jocasta Planner/Photo Book

This is the Planner/Photo book that I created in the recent Facebook Live class with Clare Charvill - My Creative Spirit, it goes with the Recipe Box that I shared HERE.

This is the cover, I have used the Graphic 45 Farmhouse collection, the same as the Recipe Box, I used several of the papers, I did some paper tearing and added a journal card and some fussy cut flowers.

This is the inside, there is a large pocket on the inside of the front cover, there are seven dividers in the planner, I used two different papers to decorate mine, this is the first one.

This is the second divider design, I have not really decided how I'm going to use my planner, I might use it as a regular planner or perhaps a meal planner so I have not labelled the dividers yet.

I have also created an insert that has two pockets, a small pocket behind the journal card

There is another larger pocket on the inside

The inside back cover is the same as the front just in reverse so I didn't think you would like to see yet another photo of that.

Thank you for visiting my blog today and thank you for all of the lovely comments that you leave, they are all read and much appreciated.

Jocasta Recipe Box

I have taken part in another of Clare Charvill's - My Creative Spirit classes, this time we have created a Recipe/Photo box and a Planner/Photo Book, this is my completed Recipe Box.

There are two classes one on a Friday evening from 6 pm to 8 pm and another on the Saturday from 6 pm until we have covered everything, this one is usually about 2 hrs as well.  In the first of the classes we created the box, Clare provides a comprehensive cutting guide in advance, we then put the box together in the class.

The box has a hook lock closure and metal feet, it opens up and has a little ledge to place your recipe card on when you are using it. I have decorated my box with Graphic 45 Farmhouse papers, it is all ready for some dividers and recipe cards.

Thank you for popping in today, your company is much appreciated.

Fresh Style

I decided to create an easel card with my Graphic 45 Farmhouse collection, this is the last project featuring the Farmhouse collection for a while - I still have lots left though, so I'm sure you will see more in the future.

I created a little pocket in the base of the card so that I could add a tag, you could pop a gift card on it or just use it to write your sentiment.  I used my Tattered Lace Flower Forming Dies to create the flowers, I cut them from some of the Patterns and Solids papers, I cut the leaves using a die from my stash.

Farmhouse Album

I thought I would join one of Clare Charvill's Facebook Live classes, I can't join the entire class live as it starts at 6 pm and we are still cooking dinner then but you can catch up at any time - it suits me better to follow at my own pace.  They are brilliant classes and Clare is very clear and precise - there have been five so far, class 6 is scheduled to start on Friday, 17th July - you can find the details HERE.

This was Class No. 2 - The Teeny Weeny Tag Album Class, it's not that Teeny Weeny, the finished album measures 7½ " x 5½ ".  I used papers and elements from the Graphic 45 Farmhouse Collection.

This is the front cover.

The inside front cover, it has a pocket with a twist and pop card in it along with the first page that also has a pocket for a couple of tags.

The twist and pop card (or Ta Da! card as Clare calls it).

The back of page one, it has a band that you can pop photo's or journaling cards behind and the front of the second page, this has another little pocket for tags or ephemera cards.

The back of page two and the front page page three, both with more pockets.  Each page has a pocket on the outside edge that contains a photo mat, I will show you them later.

The back of page three with a little tuck spot and the front of page four with the large tag that I shared last week.

The back of page four and the inside of the back cover, the inside front cover and inside back cover are both the same.

This is the front of the photo mats.

This is the back of the photo mats.

These are all of the little tags that have been tucked into the pockets.

I would highly recommend Clare's classes, she is very professional and explains everything really well in the Facebook Live, this is the first time I have created an album from scratch.  She shows you how to create the album in two different ways, how to add the spine and all of the pages, you also receive a full supply list, tool list and cutting guide.

Thank you for popping in today - please leave a comment so that I can come and visit you.

Happiness is Homemade

I have created another card with my Graphic 45 Farmhouse Collection, I've nearly completed my Album so hopefully I will be able to share it with you soon.

I have used papers from the 8 x 8" collection along with the Patterns & Solids collection.  The image is another Ephemera Card and the little label is from the Die Cut Assortment.

Life on the Farm

I have been playing with my Graphic 45 Farmhouse collection again, this time I have created a card.

I have used several of the papers from the main collection along with some from the Patterns & Solids.  I added one of the Ephemera Cards and created a rosette with a Tim Holtz die, I have just treated myself to a cordless glue gun and I have to say I love it - so much easier than having to plug in and then fight the cable when you try to stand it up!  I also used my Die-namics Fishtail Flag Dies.

Rise & Shine

I am in the process of making a Teeny Weeny Tag Album with the Graphic 45 Farmhouse Collection, I am following a Facebook Live Class with Clare Charvill from My Creative Spirit - it is taking me a while, I think I am the slowest crafter in the world, so I thought I would take a little time out and make a tag!

I love the Farmhouse Collection, it has lots of super Chicken images in it.  I love Chickens, we had two a while ago and we are probably going to get some more in the near future.  I die cut the tag and added a couple of the fabulous papers along with a couple of items from the Cut-Apart Sheet, I fussy cut the Chickens from one of the Ephemera Cards and added them with foam tape.  I made the little rosette from one of the Patterns & Solids papers and added a little cow that I die cut from one of the papers.  The ribbon, button and twine are all from my stash.

Hopefully I will complete my album soon and will be able to share it with you.  Thank you for visiting my blog today - please leave a comment so that I can come and visit you.
