Snowman Broom

This is my card for the third challenge in Bugaboo’s Fifth Annual Christmas in July week long event. this one is a colour challenge and I think I have just about managed to cover all of the colours.

I decided to make a CAS card and use the colours on the snowman's scarf.   This image is called Snowman Broom and I have used my Spectrum Noir markers to colour him in before cutting him out with my Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle die.

The sentiment is from Kirsty Wisemans' Many Greetings stamp set.

Christmas Fun

It's time for a new challenge at Crafting for all Seasons and this fortnight the theme is Stitching - real or faux.

I have made a Christmas card inspired by one that I saw on the Lawn Fawn Blog, I didn't have the adorable image that they have used (mine is still in transit) so I have used one of the new Clearly Besotted In Stitches Christmas stamps - I have embossed him with clear embossing powder, but of course you can't really see it in the photograph..

The papers are from the Lawn Fawn Into the Woods collection, I cut the bunting from one of the papers, the little fence is a Tim Holtz die and the sentiment is a Kirsty Wiseman stamp on a hand cut banner.  My stitched element is a stamp from the LOTV Babies Companion Stamp set.

Our sponsor this time is:

Prize: $20 gift certificate

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Ooh La La Creations Challenge - Stitching - Real of Faux
LEJ Designs Challenge 79 - Seasons Greetings

A Simple Tree

When I saw that the theme of the Less is More Challenge was Trees I decided to make a card using my favourite Marianne Christmas Tree die.

I have used some more of the paper that I made from my Carta Bella Winter Fun paper pack using my favourite technique from the Pattern Play Online Card Class.

The white panel has been embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder using an embossing diffuser to create a smooth oval on which to place my tree.  My sentiment is a Kirsty Wiseman stamp on a hand cut banner.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Aud Sentiments Challenge 92 - Christmas Sentiments

I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who takes the time to visit my blog and leave a comment, your company is most welcome.
