Just Because

This is another card that I have created with my Sara Davies Signature Collection - Vintage Diary, I've gone really shabby with this one!

I have used two of the beautiful papers, the green one that I have used for the base is from my Craft Consortium Grunge Craft Papers Collection, I have distressed and inked all of the edges and added some gold gilding wax.  The lock, key and sentiment are all from the collection, I fussy cut the post mark from one of the papers and created the flower using several different Spellbinders Flower dies, I added some twine behind it.

Life is Beautiful

This is another spring themed card, we quite often need our Wellington Boots in the spring but it can also be really sunny and warm - the great British Weather, at least it's not boring!

I used my Carta Bella Spring Market collection again, there is a whole sheet of tags, I just fussy cut three of them along with two of the pretty pink papers and a fussy cut sentiment and Wellington Boots.

Paper Hugs

Another Slimline design today, I really love creating these at the moment - it makes a nice change from my normal square cards.

I have used my Stamperia Spring Botanic collection again, I used two of the papers, a topper and some corrugated card stock.  Lots of torn edges and inked edges along with some die cut flowers and a Lisa Horton sentiment again.

Daydreamer

As soon as I saw the new Sara Davies Signature Collection called Vintage Diary, I just knew I had to get it, it's just my type of collection.  However, when it was delivered, I was at a bit of a loss to know what to do with it!  I think the problem is, there are no toppers, there are some stamps but as those of you that know me will know, I'm not much of a stamper!

Anyway, after I'd had a good look through the 12 x 12" paper pad I decided that I could cut some toppers from the papers. This girl reading is part of a paper, I just cut it out with a stitched rectangle die and inked the edges. I used four of the papers and cut the banners using my Die-namics Fishtail Flag dies, I cut the flowers from the reverse of one of the papers and added a sentiment from Lisa Horton Crafts Wordage Sheets.

Thank you for popping in today and thank you for all of the lovely comments that you leave, they are all read and much appreciated.

Make Today Amazing

I have another Stamperia Spring Botanic card to share today, I love the pretty colours in this collection and I have a bit of a thing about insects and butterflies.

I have used three of the papers along with a border and a topper, the sentiment is another one from the Lisa Horton Crafts Wordage Sheets, there are lots of really useful sentiments on each sheet. I have inked the edges of everything and used my Die-namics Fishtail Flag dies to cut the banners.

Love what you have ...

The weather has been glorious for the last couple of days, spring is definitely in the air, so I decided to have a play with my Carta Bella Spring Market collection.

I saw a card similar to this on Pinterest and I absolutely love this little saying, my Dad used to say it all the time and it is so true.  I have the digital collection of these papers and resized the gingham papers, they were a bit large for my card.  I fussy cut the tag and the flowers and added some die cut leaves.

Spring Botanic

I have created a double pocket card with my Stamperia Spring Botanic collection, I like this card design because you can create it with one sheet of 12 x 12 paper or card stock - there are lots of tutorials on YouTube.

I made my card base from a sheet of 12 x 12 cream card stock and used two of the beautiful papers to cover it.  I fussy cut three tags from the paper collection, there is a sheet containing twelve beautiful tags, to place in the pockets.  I attached the topper and label to some more of the cream card stock and inked the edges of everything.

This is a close up of the three tags that are in the pockets.
