More Christmas Baubles

I have some more Christmas Baubles to share today, I created these for Simply Cards & Papercraft using papers from NitWit Collections.

I used to make these when I was a child - they are quite easy to make but rather time consuming, lots of punching circles and folding.

I added little pearls to each of the joins and ribbon loops to hang them with, alternatively they look pretty displayed in a bowl.

50 Today

This is another of the masculine makes that I created for the latest issue of Simply Cards & Papercraft.

I used papers from the Echo Park This & That Charming collection to create a 50th Birthday card.

The sentiment is a Marianne die and the numbers are a Tonic die - the ribbon is from my stash.

'Twas the Night before Christmas

It's time for our final challenge this year at CD Sunday and the theme is 'Twas the Night before Christmas chosen by Jocelyn. Don’t forget to use something from a CD somewhere, however small, in the making of your card or project and give the CD credit.

I used the free CD that came with the Making Cards Christmas Special magazine to create my card.

I'm trying to experiment with some different folds at the moment and decided to try a Dutch Fold card.

Make sure you pop over to the CD Sunday Challenge blog and check out the DT Inspiration - we would love for you to join us for our 'Twas the Night before Christmas challenge, just make sure you use something from a CD somewhere, however small, in the making of your card or project and give the CD credit.

Thank you for calling this morning, please leave a comment so that I know you've been and will be able to come and visit you.

Christmas Kisses

There is a new shop on the block and also a new challenge blog and they are both called the Crafty Purple Frog.  I am super excited to tell you that I have been invited to join the new design team for the Crafty Purple Frog Challenge.

The theme for our second challenge is Winter Blues - we would like you to create something that uses mainly blues, it doesn't have to be a winter theme, we just need to see you using blue.

For my card I have used the adorable Christmas Kisses stamp from the Moonbeam Meadow collection. I used Spectrum Noir Illustrator Pens to colour the cute image and inked the edges with Distress Ink.

The sentiment is also from the Christmas Kisses stamp set.  I used Collal glue to put everything together on a 6 x 6" white card blank.

Make sure you pop over to the Crafty Purple Frog Challenge blog and join us for our Winter Blues challenge and don't forget to visit the Crafty Purple Frog Shop to take a look at all of the fabulous Crafting supplies that are available, grab a coffee and have a leisurely browse whilst you are there.

It's time for our last challenge of the year at A Gem of a Challenge and the theme is Anything Christmas Goes.

I have used this fun Rudy with Baubles Digi Stamp available in the Pink Gem Designs Shop to make my card.

I have coloured him with a combination of ProMarkers and Spectrum Noir Illustrator pens.

The papers are from The First Edition A Christmas Story Collection and the sentiment is from Crafter's Companion.

Floral Lattice

I am really excited to be joining the 4 Crafty Chicks team again as a Guest Designer, this is my second week and I still have three more to go.

The theme for this weeks challenge is No Patterned Paper chosen by Tina. I decided to use my Die’sire Create-A-Card Floral Lattice Die and some black and white card stock.

I die cut my panels from white card stock and layered them onto black card stock using my Xyron Creative Station Lite.

The ribbon is from my stash.

Thank you for joining me today, make sure you pop over the the 4 Crafty Chicks challenge blog and join us for our No Patterned Paper challenge.
