Smile Often

I have been playing with the Spellbinders August Card Making Kit, this one is called Butterfly Sparkle.

I have used three of the lovely papers, one of the die cut pieces and one of the beautiful butterflies that are part of the kit.

Believe in Magic

I have another couple of cards to share that I have created with the Spellbinders July Cardmaking Kit.

I created a swing card using the Hunkdory Moonstone Scalloped Circle Swing Die, I used one of the beautiful toppers along with one of the papers and a couple of sentiments.  I cut the little stars using a Mama Elephant die that I have had in my stash for ages.

The sentiment on the other side of the scalloped circle swing is part of the Moonstone Swing Die set.

My second card uses the same topper, there are two of all the die cuts in the collection, along with three of the pretty papers and a sentiment, I cut the little banners with my Die-namics Fishtail Flag Dies.

Wish Upon a Star

Another card created with the July Spellbinders Craft Kit, I have now received my August kit and it is just as good as the July one.

For this card I just cut several hexagons from the patterned papers to go with the hexagon sentiment, I adhered them to a piece of white card stock, using foam pads for the sentiment and added a butterfly and some stars cut from gold Mirri card stock, I attached this to the card base using foam pads.

Mermaid Wishes

The August Spellbinders Cardmaking kit is out now and I haven't used up the July one yet, nothing new there then! Anyway, this is another card that I have created with the July kit - Under the Sea Magic.

I have used four of the pretty papers this time, two of the sentiments and a fussy cut mermaid, seahorse and three starfish.  I added 3D Crystal Lacquer to the starfish but you can't really see it in the photographs.

You're Mermazing

This is another card that I have created with my July Spellbinders Cardmaking Kit - Under the Sea Magic.

I have used several of the pretty 6" x 6" papers, I cut three hexagons with my Gemini Elements Stitch Edge Hexagon dies and adhered them to the card base using foam pads for dimension, I then added a fussy cut mermaid along with some gold stars and a sentiment from the collection.

Under the Sea Magic

Have you seen that Spellbinders now have a UK Website, no more import fees and there is free P&P on orders over £50, well I just had to take advantage of this and I have signed up for their monthly club kits - I have signed up for the VIP value club that includes all of the monthly kits at a fabulous price.

I have created this card with the July Cardmaking Kit called Under the Sea Magic, the thing that I really like about kits is that they often contain things that would not necessarily be your first choice and it challenges you to try something different - that is certainly the case with this kit.

I have used two of the beautiful 6" x 6" papers, one for the background and the lovely one with the mermaid on as a topper.  I added a sentiment from the kit and fussy cut some seashells from the mermaid paper.  Everything has been backed with gold Mirri and I added three gems that were part of the kit.
