Best of Breeds Birthday Book

I am sharing the other half of the birthday book that I created using the new Pollyanna Pickering collection - Best of Breeds II.

I used the Rottweiler collection to create the July and August pages and the Terrier collection for the September and October pages.

Finally I used the Staffie for the November and December pages.

I also created these cards to put inside the book - one for each of the collections.

This is a fabulous collection packed with lots and lots of beautiful images along with so many elements and papers - I have only scratched the surface whilst creating this Birthday Book.

Best of Breeds II

Lynda Chapman will be on Create and Craft today at 10 am for the launch of a new Pollyanna Pickering CD - Best of Breeds II.

There are six new collections on this CD and I decided to create a Birthday Book using lots of the different elements.  I am sharing the cover and first six months here, I will share the remaining six months and the cards that I have included in the book later.

The photograph above is the front cover and the one below is the first page inside.  I used an 8 x 8" album that I bought from Hobbycraft some time ago, they also do 12 x 12" ones as well.

This is the January and February pages, I decided to use the gorgeous Retriever collection for these two pages, everything is from the CD with the exception of some of Lynda's card stock and a scrap of ribbon and twine from my stash.  The card in the left pocket is one of the Card Projects from the CD.

I used the Collie collection for March and April. the month tags are from the CD - there is a space at the bottom for notes.  The postcard is included on the CD, there is a picture of a Collie on the reverse - there is one in each collection.

For May and June I used the Dalmatian collection.  I did not add sentiments to the cards, I decided to include some in the book so that they could be added when required.

I apologise for the poor quality of the photographs, it was quite difficult to stand the book up.
