Have a Great Day

This is another of the cards that I created with the adorable Hey Little Piggy Craft Paper Collection that was one of the free sets that came with the January edition of Making Cards Magazine - there is an image for each month of the year.

I thought I would share this one as the weather has been gorgeous here for the last couple of days, not quite warm enough for ice cream but lovely all the same.

I fussy cut the image and just added a frame cut from some yellow card stock. The stamped and die cut sentiment is from Hunkydory.

January Making Cards Magazine - March

The purpose of these cards is to show what you can create with the minimum of extras, all I added to create this card is some card stock and a sentiment.

It's Mother's Day here in the UK today so we have my Mother-in-Law coming to visit today and we will all be going out for a lovely meal tonight.

Take it Easy

This is another of the cards that I created with the adorable Hey Little Piggy Craft Paper Collection that was one of the free sets that came with the January edition of Making cards Magazine - there is an image for each month of the year.

I think the sentiment is from LOTV but I'm not absolutely sure, I hand made the card candi from the green card stock that I used to mat the image and papers.

April Showers

Yoga Heals the Soul

This is the final card that I created for the January Edition of Making Cards & Papercraft Magazine.

I used the free bonus online download to create this and three more cards, there were six super Yoga themed toppers and two co-ordinating papers. If you 'like' the Making Cards Facebook page you will be able to collect a different set of these papers each month.

All that I added to create this card is some card stock, a button, some twine and a computer generated sentiment.  I hand made the card candi from the card stock.

You Turn Me On

This is one of the cards that I created for last month's Making Cards & Papercraft Magazine, I used the Free bonus email download papers to create four humorous Valentine cards.

To make this card I just used one of the toppers,  printed the black and white heart paper onto some mustard coloured paper and added some black card stock.

You've Stolen a Pizza my Heart

This is one of the cards that I created for last month's Making Cards & Papercraft Magazine, I used the Free bonus email download papers to create four humorous Valentine cards.

I printed the black and white heart paper onto some mustard coloured paper and added some black card stock to create this card.  I fussy cut three little tomatoes from the pizza topper and added 3D Crystal Lacquer to create the card candi.

Be Good to Yourself

This is the third card that I created for the January Edition of Making Cards & Papercraft Magazine.

I used the free bonus online download to create this and three more cards, there were six super Yoga themed toppers and two co-ordinating papers. If you 'like' the Making Cards Facebook page you will be able to collect a different set of these papers each month.

To create this card I just used one of the free toppers and one of the free papers.  I added some card stock and hand made the card candi.  The sentiment was computer generated.

We eventually managed to choose one puppy yesterday (actually, I think he chose us), it certainly wasn't easy but this is the one we will be bringing home in nine weeks time - I don't know how we are going to manage to wait that long but we can go and see him whenever we wish.

Special Friend

This is one of the cards that I created for the January edition of Making Cards & Papercraft Magazine, I used the Hey Little Piggy Craft Paper Collection that was one of the free collections that came with the magazine.  There is an adorable Piggy topper for each month, this one is the February image.

All I have added is some card stock and a sentiment from my stash.

Me and Hubby are going to Portsmouth today to choose a puppy from this adorable little lot, I don't know how we are going to choose just one!

We will probably go down to Southsea after and go for a stroll along the beach and have some lunch.

It's a nice day for Yoga

This is another of the cards that I created for the January Edition of  Making Cards & Papercraft Magazine.

I used the free bonus online download to create this and three more cards, there were six super Yoga themed toppers and two co-ordinating papers. If you 'like' the Making Cards Facebook page you will be able to collect a different set of these papers each month.

The purpose of these cards is to show what can be created with a minimum of extras. To create this card I cut out one of the toppers with a circle die and added scalloped border.

All I have added is some coloured card stock, computer generated sentiment and some card candi.

In the Moment

The new issue of Making Cards Magazine is on sale today so that means that I can start to share the cards that I created for the last edition.

I used the free bonus online download to create this and three more cards, there were six super toppers and two co-ordinating papers.  If you 'like' the Making Cards Facebook page you will be able to collect a different set of these papers each month.

As always, the purpose of these cards is to show what can be created with a minimum of extras.  To create this card, I simply fussy cut one of the toppers and added some solid card stock

The sentiment was computer generated and cut into a fishtail banner shape.
