The decoupage image is from Jayne Nestorenko and the papers are from the Simple Stories Cozy Christmas collection.

Christmas Poinsettia

It's time for a new challenge at Winter Wonderland and this week our theme is Ribbon and Pearls, this is my card using a gorgeous Poinsettia image from Jayne Nestorenko's Decoupage Sheets and Papers from the Papermania First Noel Collection.

I layered the image onto a gold circle, followed by a red circle and then a gold scalloped circle, the border is an X-cut edge punch and the corners are a Spellbinders die cut.  Pearls have been added to the corners and the berries on the image.  I made a chocolate box bow with some ribbon from my stash.

This week we are sponsored by Iva Nova Chest with a fabulous goody bag for our lucky winner.

Deck the Halls

I saw some fabulous Christmas stamps by Jayne Nestorenko in one of my craft magazines the other day so I popped over to her website and had a quick look - needless to say one or two stamps and some traditional decoupage sheets fell into my basket.  They arrived within a couple of days and this is a card I have made with one of the decoupage sheets.

The decoupage sheets are really good quality but a little fiddly to cut out, there are six layers in total.  I embossed the white card stock with my Embossalicious Chevrons embossing folder using an embossing diffuser that I made myself before layering it onto some Kraft card stock.  The sentiment was part of the decoupage sheet and the string is from my stash.

This photograph shows the decoupage layers a little better.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Delicious Doodles Challenge 62 - CAS
Totally Papercrafts Challenge 193 - Clean & Simple
Dream Valley Challenge 70 - Clean and Simple
CHNC November Challenge - Anything Christmas Goes

Deep Ocean Challenge 65 - Favourite Colour Combo (Red and Green - especially for Christmas cards)

Thank you so much for joining me today, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to my latest followers and say a huge thank you to everyone that takes the time to visit my blog and leave a comment.
