Let it Snow

This is another Christmas card to add to my small collection, I have used the Watercolour Christmas Signature collection by Sara Davies again.

I used one of the adorable toppers from the 12 x 12 paper pad, I cut it out with a Spellbinders Fancy Edged Oval die, I also used two of the papers and one of the Snowflake Edge Embossing Folders.  The sentiment was cut from one of the 12 x 12 sheets, I added a star shaped button from my stash tied with a twine bow.

Sweet Treats

This is another project from the final commission that I created for Crafter's Companion before I decided to step down from the Design Team. I created a total of five projects for Crafter's Inpiration 26 using the craft kit that comes with the magazine.

This is a little basket containing some sweets, I used the embossing folder from the craft kit and printed some solid papers from the free digital papers that you can download.  There are full instructions detailing how I created the basket in the magazine.

Wine Bottle Tag

This is another project that I created when I was a member of the Crafter's Companion Design Team -  I decided to step down from all of my design teams when I was told that I have the early stages of Macular Degeneration - I want to have plenty of time to use up all of the stash that I have managed to accumulate over the past 10 years and I have to say, I am really enjoying myself!

I created five projects for Crafter's Inspiration 26, this one is a wine bottle tag using some of the digital papers, the embossing folder and the die.

Coffee and Chocolate

This is the final commission that I created as part of the Crafter's Companion Design Team, I decided to step down from all of my design teams so that I would have the time to use up all of the stash that I have managed to accumulate.  I was asked to create five off-the-page projects using the free craft kit and digital papers for Crafter's Inspiration 26.

I decided to create a treat box using the embossing folder, die and papers.

Christmas Door

This is another of the cards that I created for the latest Hunkydory Cardmaking Collection - Issue 9. I used the door embossing folder again along with some of the stamps and papers from the Little Robin Redbreast card collection.

I embossed the door on white card stock and again on red Adorable Scorable, I cut out the red door and attached it to the white one using foam pads.  I stamped the lamps and trees and coloured them with alcohol markers.  The wreath was cut from one of the papers and again from gold Mirri, the sentiment was part of the card collection.

Holiday Sparkle

Craig will be on Create and Craft at 8 am today, he will be launching the new Crafter's Companion Christmas Shaker dies, I was asked to create some samples for the shows and this is one of them. You can find another card using the Christmas Window Stamp and Die collection HERE.

I used the Snow Globe Stamp and Die collection cut from red Mirri card to create this card, you also get stamps to create a scene along with some sentiments.  I used one of the 3D embossing folders that are also on the show, the Softly Falling folder and some Centura Metallic Card from the Precious Metals pack.  The papers are from the Nature’s Garden Poinsettia Perfection Paper Pad.

Celebrate Autumn

I have been having another play with my Tonic Craft Kit, this time I have used the complete large die and also cut some additional leaves.

I stamped the cute little hedgehog and coloured him with my Spectrum Noir Illustrator pens before stamping the sentiment onto the leaf.  The flowers are from the stamp set, I coloured them and then fussy cut them.

Everything has been mounted onto an embossed background and then some gold mirri.

Rustic Autumn

I have been having a play with my Tonic Craft Kit, I snipped some of the leaves from the large die and used the other dies to cut the rest.

I coloured them with my Spectrum Noir Illustrator pens and added a button tied with a twine bow.  I embossed the background and stamped one of the sentiments from the kit on a hand cut banner that I coloured to match.  Everything has been layered onto some gold card stock that was also part of the kit.

Christmas Wreath

I was delighted to be asked to contribute to the Designer Cardmaking Joanna Sheen Special recently.  I was commissioned to create five cards using the fabulous free kit that comes with the magazine.

There is a 4-in-1 die set, 8 co-ordinating stamps, an embossing folder, 102 papers & toppers and some ribbon and gems.

I used the stamps and embossing folder to create this card using the letter press technique and some green ink.

I also used the stamps to stamp the Christmas Flower arrangement four times - I coloured with ProMarkers and fussy cut everything.

I used foam pads and glue gel for dimension.
