Christmas Critters

These are the final two cards and gift bags that I made for my son to give his pupils at Christmas, thank goodness for that I hear you all say!

I have used toppers, papers and sentiments from the Sara Davies Watercolour Christmas Collection from Crafter's Companion.

We had a terrible day yesterday, wet, windy and dark all day, a lovely sunny day is forecast for today, that's good old British weather for you!

Thank you for visiting my blog today, please leave a comment so that I can come and visit you.

Super Santa

I have a few more Christmas cards to share today, I have used the super Santa toppers and papers that came with the Nov/Dec edition of Marking Cards Magazine.

I cut the toppers out with nesting dies and computer generated the sentiments, I created the bags with papers from the Violet Studio Home for Christmas collection.

Who has taken down their Christmas decorations, my youngest son and hubby took ours down and everything looks very bare now - I have some nice new curtains for the sitting room and some nice new cushions, hopefully that will brighten things up again.

I have another three Christmas cards and gift bags to share today, this time I have used the Sara Davies Watercolour Christmas Collection from Crafter's Companion.

I have used three of the toppers and several of the papers from the collection.  The gift bags were created with a random selection of Christmas papers from my stash.

This will be my final post before Christmas so I would like to say a very big thank you to everyone that has taken the time to visit my blog this year.  I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Busy Santa

A couple more of the cards and gift bags that I made for my eldest son to give his pupils this year, he gave them out on Friday and he said they loved them.

This time I used toppers and papers that were free in the Nov/Dec edition of Making Cards Magazine, I subscribe to the digital version of the magazine so I can print them as many times as I wish.  I used papers from the Violet Studio Home for Christmas collection to create the gift bags.

Elves and Snowmen

Another three of cards and giftbags for my son's pupils, these are the final three that I created with the Craft Consortium Made by Elves collection.

The papers with the signs on are from the Made by Elves collection and the Dotty papers are from the It's Snome Time collection, I used two of the square Made by Elves decoupage toppers and created the circular topper using a scene from one of the papers and leftover decoupage layers. I computer generated the sentiments and created the gift bags using the 12 x 12 papers.

Thank you for visiting my blog today and thank you for all of the lovely comments that you leave, they are all read and much appreciated.

Christmas Elves

These are two more of the cards and gift bags that I have made for my son to give his pupils, he will fill the bags with some sweets, and small gifts - he is coming to collect them all today.

I have used one of the papers, they have the same pattern on both sides but one side has a white background and the other has a dark brown background.  I also used one of the decoupage toppers and added a computer generated sentiment.

Made by Elves

I am sharing three more of the cards and gift bags that I have created for my son to give his pupils for Christmas, I hope you're not getting bored seeing them all, I promise I will have something different to share next time.  I have used a different collection for these - the Made by Elves collection from Craft Consortium.

The papers with the hats are from the Made by Elves collection and the Dotty papers are from the It's Snome Time collection, I used two of the Made by Elves decoupage toppers, they are the square ones and created the circular topper using a scene from one of the papers and leftover decoupage layers.  I computer generated the sentiments and created the gift bags using the 12 x 12 papers.

It's Snome Time

It's the time of year when I start to make gift bags for my Teacher son to fill and give his class for Christmas, I need to make 30 and this year I have decided to make Christmas cards to go with them - I really need to use up some of my Christmas collections.

I am sharing the first two today.

I have used the Craft Consortium - It's Snome Time collection, there is a 12 x 12 paper pad and eight toppers, two of four designs.  I've kept things simple, I used two of the papers, a topper with one layer of decoupage and a sentiment on each card and another sheet of the paper to create the gift bag.

Two down, twenty eight to go!

Christmas Gift Bags

I have been busy making some Christmas gift bags for my eldest son.  He is a teacher and will be filling them with little treats to give his class for Christmas.

There are thirty in total, I used a variety of Christmas papers from my stash and they are all ready to be filled and tied up.  I apologize for the poor photograph, it was late when I finished them and he needed to take them home with him.
