Gardens feed the Soul

This is a card that I have created with the Graphic 45 Bloom collection, I have lots of leftover papers and toppers after creating the Verity Boxed Album and Drawer Stand that I recently shared.

I used three of the papers along with a chipboard sentiment, I created the flowers and leaves with a Crafter's Companion Die and fussy cut the butterflies from one of the papers.

Verity Album

This is the Verity Album that goes with the Drawer Stand that I shared recently, I learnt how to make it in the most recent Facebook Live class with Clare from My Creative Spirit.

I used the Graphic 45 Bloom collection, the same as the stand - above is the front cover.  Below is the inside front cover, it has a belly band for you to place photographs or ephemera behind and the front of the first page that has a small pocket on the bottom and another at the side, both have plenty of room for  photographs or ephemera.

The next photograph shows the back of the first page, it has a pocket for photographs etc., along with the front of the second page, again this has a small pocket on the bottom and a larger pocket at the side.

There are five pages and they are all the same design, I have alternated the papers between the combination above and the combination below so I will only show these two.

Below you can see the back of the fifth page along with the inside of the back cover, they are the same design as the inside front and first page.  I really enjoy making these albums, they are quite time consuming but good fun.  I would highly recommend Clare's Facebook Live Classes they are spread over two evenings, Friday from 6 pm for two hours and again on the Saturday from 6 pm for as long as it takes - you can join live or follow the classes when it is convenient to you - I tend to do a bit of both and you can find them all HERE.

The Verity Boxed Album and Drawer Stand

I joined another Facebook Live class this weekend, it was with Clare from My Creative Spirit again and this time we created The Verity Boxed Album and Drawer Stand - this is the Drawer Stand.

The online classes are fun and Clare is a good teacher.  I completed the actual stand on the first night but it always takes me ages to add the papers, I used the Graphic 45 Bloom collection - I was originally going to use Fairie Wings but when I tried to plan how to decorate the album I changed my mind, I always struggle!  There is a compartment just the right size to store the Album in, it has a hinged lid and two doors, there is also a little drawer in the bottom.

Miniature Dachshund

This is the card that I made for a friend of ours, it is her Birthday next week and as she has recently become the proud owner of a Miniature Dachshund I decided to create a card with a Dachshund on it, well two actually.

I created a slimline card and used a Sue Wilson Die to create the panel on the front.  The Dachshund image is from the Splash Crafts Paw Prints CD, I printed one and then flipped the image and printed another.  The papers are also from the CD, I computer generated the sentiment along with a verse for the inside of the card.

Thank you for popping in today and thank you for all of the lovely comments that you leave, they are all read and much appreciated.

Amethyst

I have been using up some old stash again, this time the Kaisercraft Amethyst collection.

I have used some of the 6 x 6" papers, I fussy cut the flower corners and added them with foam pads, the sentiment is also from the 6 x 6" paper pad.  I fussy cut the butterflies from one of the 12 x 12" papers and added some Hunkydory gems to them.

On the Canal

This is the card that I have created for my Brother in Law, I find him quite difficult to make for because he does not have any hobbies,  he did have a canal boat though so that is what I decided to go with.

I used images from the Hunkydory Picture Perfect It's a Mans Life pad and papers from the Hobbies for Him pad.  I computer generated the sentiment and added a verse to the inside.

I have another New Baby card to share today, I have used the new Violate Studio Baby collection again.
