Flying

I created this card with some new Gemini dies from Crafter's Companion, this one is part of the Elements collection and is called Blue tit.

I decided to use cardstock and papers from Sara's latest Signature Collection - Vintage Lace and paper pieced the die cut bird.  I used a sentiment die from the Gemini Expressions Sentiment collection and some black Centura Pearl.

Autumn Honeycombe Box

This is another of the Crafter's Companion Favour Boxes that I was asked to create for the recent launch on Create and Craft. this one is the Honeycombe Favour Box, I think it is probably my favourite!

I cut the box and panels from Crafter's Companion 8 x 8 Textured Cardstock, I left it quite plain so the the decorative panels would take centre stage.  I have a busy month for Birthdays in November so as soon as I have completed the magazine commission I am working on I will be busy making Birthday cards.

Winter Flowers

The November edition of Making Cards & Papercraft is out now and comes with a fantastic Christmas Cat stamp set and two beautiful Craft Paper Collections - Ready For Christmas and Colourful Christmas.  There is also a great article on the use of glitter and the environment and so much more so make sure you pick up a copy.

I was asked to create four cards for this issue using the current free Digital Craft Paper Collection that is available over on the Making Cards website and this is one of them.

Take a look on the Making Cards Facebook page HERE, if viewing on a desktop computer simply click on the link on the left that says 'Free Craft Papers' or head to www.makingcardsmagazine to download, save and print out as many times as you wish.

Time to Party

This is the final card that I created for last months edition of Making Cards Magazine, I made a set of four cards using the fabulous Sugar Skull collection that was part of the email newsletter that is sent out each month.

I used one of the toppers and one of the papers - there are four toppers and two papers in the collection.  I computer generated the sentiment and added some buttons tied with twine to embellish.

At the Door

This is another card that I created for the Hunkydory Cardmaking Collection - Issue 9, I used the free door embossing folder again for this one.

I used the letterpress technique to create the door and stamped and coloured the lamps and trees. The wreath was created using card stock from the Seasonal Style card collection along with some red Adorable Scorable,

Let's Celebrate

I thought I would share a light and fresh card today, it is quite miserable here - damp and dreary, so hopefully this will cheer us all up a little.

I have used a selection of Crafter's Companion Die'sire Dies along with papers from Sara's Sew Lovely collection. I created the flowers with Crafter's Companion Quilling dies.

Best Wishes

This is another Gemini Favour Box, the Gift Carton Box, they are the largest of the collection - perfect to put lots of goodies in.

I used pale blue Centura Pearl to create the box and silver glitter card stock to decorate it.  The hearts are also part of the die collection, all I have added is a little piece of ribbon and twine from my stash.
