On your travels

I am thrilled to have this travel journal published in the latest Hunkydory Design Collection Box Magazine that is currently available from Create and Craft.

This is a fabulous collection that comes with two exclusive Hunkydory card collections - Fashionista and Parisienne along with a 4 piece die set, an A6 embossing folder and 15 co-ordinating image and sentiment stamps.  I was commission to create this project using the Parisienne collection and another ten cards, 5 using the Parisienne collection and 5 using the Fashionista collection.

I found it very difficult to photograph this project, if you get a copy of the magazine they did a much better job than me.

The magazine also contains written instructions explaining how I made the journal.

Playful Kitty

This is another card created using the Hunkydory It's a Cat's Life collection, it is now available from the Hunkydory Website.

I used an image from the Parchment Paper along with some printed cardstock and a sentiment from the Luxury Topper Collection.   I fussy cut the bow to add a little dimension.

Summer Yellow

This is another of the projects that I created using the new Floral Alphabet Stamps from Crafter's Companion, you can find them on the Crafter's Companion Website.

I stamped the floral alphabet letters and coloured them with my Sectrum Noir Illustrator Pens. The yellow cardstock is from the Crafter's Companion 8 x 8" Textured Cardstock pad, I also used some black cardstock.

Pretty in Pink

It was my Sister's Birthday on Saturday and this is the card that I created for her.

I used the Crafter's Companion Natures Garden Peony Collection Paper Pad and Dies along with some Matt Cardstock.

I used another of the papers and a verse that I found on the internet to decorate the inside of my card.

On Your Special Day

This is another of the cards that I created for the May edition of Making Cards Magazine. To make these cards I used the sweet Spring Bunny Facebook bonus papers. Pop over to the Making Cards Blog, there are some beautiful floral papers to download at the moment.

The purpose of these cards is to show what you can create using just the free papers and a minimum of extras.  I have used two of the patterned papers and one topper and all I have added is some pink cardstock, a stamped sentiment and a scrap of ribbon from my stash.

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend, the weather was glorious yesterday and it's quite nice again today.

Toby sends his love

This is the final Toby Panda card that I created for the May edition of Making Cards Magazine. This card was on the front cover, I think I must like very different cards from everyone else because this is the one that I like the least out of all four that I made.  You can find the others HERE if you would like to take a look.

I used the Toby Panda papers that were emailed to Newsletter subscribers on 17th May. If you are not an email subscriber, sign up now and you will receive a fabulous Succulent collection next month.  All I have added is some black card stock, a stamped Hunkydory sentiment and some ribbon from my stash.

We took Ramsey to Southsea yesterday, he seemed to quite like the sea, perhaps it was because Matthew had a paddle with him - he must have been mad because it was freezing.

Thank you for visiting my blog today and thank you for all of the lovely comments that you leave - they are all read and very much appreciated.

Floral Alphabet Plaque

This is another of the projects that I created using the new Floral Alphabet Stamps from Crafter's Companion, you can find them on the Crafter's Companion Website.

I stamped the floral alphabet letters and coloured them with my Sectrum Noir Illustrator Pens, I then attached them to some Crafter's Companion Textured Cardstock.  I added some little ribbon bows to hang them up by.
