Dream

It's time for a new challenge at Ooh La La Creations and the theme for the next fortnight is Die Cuts.

I have used the beautiful Dream collection from The Shawn Jenkins Collection CD to create my card.

I used two of the lovely papers and fussy cut the butterflies from the topper sheet before adding them to squares cut using my Tattered Lace Torn Edge Square dies.

The sentiment is also from the CD, I inked the edges of everything before adding some pearls and lace from my stash.

Make sure you pop over to the Ooh La La Creations Challenge Blog and check out the DT inspiration, we would love for you to join us for our Die Cuts Challenge.

Thank you for calling today, your company is much appreciated.

Love Hearts

It's time for a new challenge at the Crafty Purple Frog, the theme for the next month is Love is all around - it can be a creation for a good friend, a wedding or your loved one, we just want to feel the love!

I used some beautiful papers from the First Edition Botanical Notes Paper Pad, I have distressed the edges of everything and inked them with Distress Ink for a Shabby Chic feel.

The butterflies are the Flit and Flutter dies from the Sara Davies Butterfly Lullaby Signature Collection and the flourish is the Fancy Flourishes die from the same collection.

I just added some pearls from my stash and a scruffy bow created from seam binding.

Happy Birthday Shaker

This is my card for this weeks Less is More Challenge, they are celebrating their 6th Birthday this month and the theme for this week is Colour Wheel, they would like us to use 3 adjacent colours on our cards.

I chose to use red, orange and yellow and made a very simple shaker card.

The Happy Birthday die is from the Sara Davies Birthday Party Collection.  Some orange card stock, a few sequins plus a twine bow and that's it!

I would like to enter this card into the Less is More Colour Wheel Challenge.

Best Bro Ever!

It's time for a new challenge at The Paper Shelter and the theme for the next week is For a Special Moment.  I have used this beautiful collection called Best Bro Ever! - as you probably know each set consists of one inked stamp, one coloured stamp, one matching paper and one composition.

I have used the composition to create my card, I printed it several times so that I could add lots of decoupage layers. The sentiment tags are from LOTV and the pearls, ribbon and twine are from my stash.

I used the matching paper to decorate the inside of my card, the colours are so pretty in this collection.

Make sure you pop over to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog and check out the DT inspiration, we would love for you to join us for our For a Special Moment Challenge. If you use a Paper Shelter image you could win a $30 Gift Certificate, if you use another image you can win 3 Digis of your choice.

Thank you for calling today, your company is much appreciated.

Sugar and Spice

This is another of the projects that I created for Creative Stamping Magazine. I was sent the fun stamp set that is free with the magazine along with some Echo Park Party Time Papers and decided to make a little gift bag.

The sentiment is from the free stamp set, I coloured it with ProMarkers and cut it out with Tonic Oval Layering Die before attaching it to a scalloped oval cut with a Tonic Scalloped Oval Layering Die.

I punched two holes in the top and used some ribbon from my stash to keep it closed.

Thank you for visiting my blog, please leave a comment so that I know you've been and will be able to come and visit you.
