Their color is beautiful and how cool they and the dogs get along. Eggs are my go to when I don't know what to have. Egg salad for lunch or an omelet for dinner.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to Peggy and Rita! I have only one chicken now and sadly she don't make eggs by a year. Here the chicken you can buy are bred badly, they do not care that they live for long, nor that they make eggs for a long time. I love fresh eggs of happy chickens (and yours are surely happy!) My chicken name is Menda, now she is three years old and have a lot of space to wandering and scratching. Currently she spends her days waiting for ripe grapes to fall from the vines. LOL :D She loves ripe! I have to buy at least two more chickens to keep her company, but in this period here they aren't available.
ReplyDeleteLove seeing that your dogs and chickens seem being friends!! How sweet!
How nice to see Peggy and Rita in their new run. And your dogs find them very interesting. And hopefully Rita will follow Peggy in laying eggs, so you can enjoy a freshly laid egg more often.
