Vintage Sunflowers

I am trying to do a little stash busting at the moment, I really do need to use up some of my stash.

I have created this card with one of my older Heartfelt Creations collections - Classic Sunflower.  I think perhaps I'm dreaming of September when the weather can still be nice but a little cooler, it's absolutely roasting here at the moment and I can't remember the last time we had any rain!

This is quite a vintage collection so I decided to do some tearing and inking to create a shabby chic card.  I used several of the beautiful papers along with a frame, I then fussy cut several sunflowers and leaves and layered them up for dimension, I also added a sentiment and fussy cut butterfly from the collection.

Thank you for visiting my blog today and thank you for all of the lovely comments that you leave, they are all read and much appreciated.

  8. What a lovely card, Pauline, with your fabulous use of textures and coordinating details. Sorry to hear about the heat. Even in Florida we are not receiving our normal amounts of summer rain, but I hesitate to say anything because I'm grateful for escaping the severe flooding up north. We are fortunate here to have air conditioning. Wishing you some relief soon! xx
