Christmas Wreath

My blog buddy Jules has been posting lots of "quick and easy", her words not mine, Christmas cards and she has inspired me to get on and do the same.  You can find the cards that Jules has been creating HERE.

I think Jules has been more successful than me but I'm not going to give up that easily, I have a few more ideas I will be trying!  I used a download that I found on Etsy along with a die cut sentiment from Creative Crafting World, I've kept it really flat because it will be going in the post.

Thank you for popping in today and thank you for all of the lovely comments that you leave, they are all read and much appreciated.

Candy Cane

I have created this card for this months Rudolph Days Challenge, it's the final one for this year.

I have used my Simple Stories Simple Vintage North Pole Collection, I purchased the Collection Kit and loved it so much that I picked up the digital collection as well so that I could print multiple copies of the images and create some decoupage layers.

I would like to enter this card into the November Rudolph Days Challenge.

Autumn Time

Whilst I had my Graphic 45 - Time to Flourish collection on my desk I decided to create a card with the leftover pieces from the September pages.

My Inspiration came from one of the Project Sheets on the Graphic 45 website, I changed it up a bit to make it my own.

Time to Flourish Album

I decided to create a Mini Album/Birthday Book with my Graphic 45 Time to Flourish collection, I thought I would start with the Autumn Months.

I used a Graphic 45 Ivory Rectangle Tag & Pocket Album, I will create my own album in future though, it is much easier to decorate than a ready made one.

I'm not very happy with it so far and don't know if I will bother to finish it, I seem to run out of inspiration and get bored after a little while at the moment!

Snowball Fight

This is the final card that I have created with my Authentique Frosted collection, I still have a few bits left but I'm running out of inspiration now, do you run out of inspiration when trying to use up a whole pad of paper?  I have used a couple of sheets of the papers to create some gift bags, I am making 30 for my teacher son to pop some bits and pieces in for his class at Christmas - I make them for him most years.

I added some heart shaped buttons from my stash and a stamped sentiment, the ribbon is the same colour as the purple on the image but my camera has decided differently!

You Warm my Heart

I'm still on a mission to use up my Authentique Frosted Collection, I hope you're not getting fed up with all of my Christmas Cards.

This is a much more simple card, I've tried to make it suitable to post by only adding a thin layer of foam pads behind the topper.  Everything is from the Authentique Collection, including the sentiment, I just added some dark blue card stock.

Sweater Weather

I have another Christmas card to share today, I have used my Authentique Frosted Collection again, I'm determined to start using up some of my many Authentique collections!

I have used one of the Cut-Aparts along with three of the papers, I really like the colours in this collection.  I used an old Spellbinders die to cut the Poinsettias, I cut some from the patterned papers and one from white card stock.  I also used my Die-namics Fishtail Flag Dies to cut the banners,

Gift Card Holders

I have created a couple of gift card holders to give a family friend's children for Christmas.

I have used my Authentique Frosted collection again, I used a Hunkydory die to cut the shaped flap and added a little pocket to the inside for the gift card.  I used two of the images from the Cut-Apart sheets along with several of the papers, all I have added is some cardstock and hook and loop dots to hold them closed - they are both the same on the inside so I have only photographed one of them.

Days like these

This is another card that I have created with my Authentique Frosted Collection, this time I used the purple themed papers.

Again, everything is from the collection with the exception of some cardstock and gems.  I used my Spellbinders dies to cut the Poinsettis and added a doily and a snowflake.

I turned out AWESOME!

This is the card that I created for my eldest son to give his Dad, this time I used the Simple Stories Dad Life collection.

I have the digital collection so I just printed the papers that I needed along with the topper, I computer generated the sentiment and cut it into a fishtail flag shape.  I also added some enamel dots from my stash.

Hot Chocolate

I am trying to be more organised for Christmas this year, I'm usually rushing around at the last minute trying to get everything finished!  I have bought most of my Christmas presents so I thought it was time to finish my Christmas cards.

I used my Authentique Frosted collection to create this card, there are lots of pretty blues and purples in this collection, I was inspired by a card that I saw on the Authentique Blog and used the blue themed papers.  Everything is from the collection except some card stock and gems.  I fussy cut the image and added a die cut doily, the Poinsettias are a spellbinders die and the other flowers are a Joy Crafts die, I also added some snowflakes and stars.

The man, the myth, the legend

This is the card that I created for my youngest son to give his Dad, very different from the one I gave him!

I saw a card similar to this on Pinterest and decided to create my own take on it.  I used some very old Memory Box Alphabet Dies to cut the letters, I cut them from fun foam and some dotty papers that I had in my stash.  I layered them up and attached them to the card, I computer generated the words and added fun foam to the back of them before attaching them to the card.  I used some more of the dotty papers to decorate the inside of the card.

Aged Perfectly

It is my husband's Birthday today, I am not going to say how old he is but he was born in the sixties - I found this image on the internet and thought it would be perfect.

It was very white when I printed it out so I aged it with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink so that it would match the Graphic 45 A Proper Gentleman papers that I used.  I computer generated the sentiment and also aged it with the Distress Ink.  I always find it so difficult to create cards for my family, do you find it difficult or is it just me?

Everlasting Memories

This is the card that I created for my Niece, it is her birthday on the 11th so I will have to pop to the post office later.

I used the Hunkydory Everlasting Memories collection - the papers are from the Inserts and Paper collection and the topper is from the Tag Pad. I added a stamped and die cut sentiment, I'm not sure where either of them came from!

Make A Wish

November is a busy month for Birthdays in our house, I have created this card for my Great Niece, she is the first.

I used papers and elements from the Echo Park Birthday Girl Collection, I have the digital version.  There are lots of layers and dimension on this card, lots of my favourite fussy cutting - it is going to cost me to post it, I will put it in with the one I have created for my Niece, her mother, so that will make it a bit more cost effective.

Autumn paints ...

I was having a browse on Pinterest and I came across a tutorial to create a square diagonal double pocket card, you can find it HERE, so I thought I would have a go.

I made mine from Kraft card stock and used papers and elements from the Authentique Splendor collection to decorate it.  Instead of adding tags I have added three Ephemera Cards, you could write a greeting on the back of them or add a gift card.

Blessings

This is another card created with the Authentique Splendor collection.

This is a very similar design to the card that I blogged yesterday but I think it looks completely different. Everything is from the collection, all I have added is some brown card stock and buttons.

Merry & Bright

This is the third Christmas card that I have created with my Graphic 45 Christmas Time collection, there are some gorgeous papers and vintage toppers in this collection.

I have used papers from the 8 x 8" paper pad again along with elements from the 12 x 12" paper pad.  I used an old Spellbinders die to cut the Poinsettia and leaf from one of the papers from the patterns and solids paper pad.

Fall Colours

Autumn is really here in my neck of the woods now, the trees are quite beautiful at the moment and this inspired me to get my Authentique Splendor collection out.

Two of the papers are from the Splendor collection and one is from the Pleasant collecion, all of the elements are from Splendor.  I used my new flower dies, Spellbinders Autumn Flora by Susan Tierney-Cockburn, to cut the flowers and leaves.
