I'm sorry that this photograph is a little blurry but he was running full pelt at the time!
We also met some swans on the path around our local lake the other morning, we decided to be cautious and turned back.
The next day they were swimming in the lake so we could do a complete circuit.
Thank you for visiting my blog today and thank you for all of the lovely comments that you leave - they are all read and very much appreciated.

Aww brilliant, Pauline! So nice of Ramsey to bring you a tree! xx
ReplyDeleteRamsey is so sweet. They always look so proud of themselves when they carry a stick don't they and yes, very wise to stay away from the swans x
ReplyDeleteOh Ramsey and Monte make a great pair, he loves to chase the ducks when we go around the duck pond close to home, but also loves those sticks and water, identical in nature and he is a beautiful doggie.xx
ReplyDeleteLovely shots of your walking. Ramsey is growing fast and the stick he carried was so big! :)
ReplyDeleteWell done for the swans!
Great pics and very wise swans can be aggresive when they have young

I think your dog has seen the advert on TV where the dog carries the stick and then drops it on the owners feet,
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures of him, The swan certainly has a large group of young, yes she would not be pleased to see the dog. Beautiful picture of her on the lake
Oh this made me laugh Pauline, I have a photo of Milo with a huge branch in his mouth too, must be a Labrador thing lol, thanks for sharing them, Kate x x
ReplyDeleteMy how Ramsey has grown ...he is gorgeous, with the added bonus of all the fresh air and exercise you get walking him.....
ReplyDeleteA glorious day here and all my washing is whizzing round the washing line drying in the breeze.....xxx
This picture gives meaning to the phrase "Walk softly and carry a big stick". Ramsey really found his match with this stick! He is getting so big already. I wonder if he would jump in the water and chase the swans. What beautiful scenery you have on your walks.
ReplyDeleteRamsey is too cute with his stick!! So adorable!! The swans are beautiful!! Have a great day!! Big hugs :)
