Birthday Butterfly

This is the final card, for now, that I have created with the beautiful new Craftwork Cards Blush Rose Collection - I need to take a break for a while to work on a magazine commission.

This is quite a simple design, I cut two matching squares from one of the beautiful papers- one slightly smaller than the other, I matted them both onto some silver grey card stock and then layered them up using foam pads for dimension.

I fussy cut the butterflies from another sheet of the paper and added them on top.  The sentiment is also from the collection, I added a layer of pink paper and then a scalloped circle cut from the silver grey card stock.

Blush Rose Birthday

This is the second card that I have created with the beautiful new Craftwork Cards Blush Rose Collection, this gorgeous collection has lovely pink, blue and grey papers.

For this card I have cut four strips from two of the beautiful patterned papers and trimmed the bottom of the strips to create a scalloped edge.  I created a rosette flower and added one of the silver sentiments from the collection.

I used some card stock from my stash - it looks more like black in the photographs but it is grey!  I passed the border strip through my ribbler to create some texture.
