Birthday Cake

I found time to have a play with the latest Craftwork Cards Stamp Club Kit and created this card.  I wasn't quite sure what to do with this collection at first but a quick perusal of Pinterest gave me this idea.

I stamped the cake sections on one of the papers from the Embroidered Blooms collection using Hero Arts Unicorn Pigment Ink.  I then cut them out and doodled around the outside with a black pen, I stamped the cake stand and arranged the cake sections on top.

I cut the bunting from the same papers and added a twine bow.

Just to Say

This is my first card using the latest Julie Loves Creativity Box - Wildflowers, this is such a pretty collection.

I cut out one of the toppers with a circle die and then cut out just the square element so that I could layer it up - I also fussy cut the two little butterflies so that I could add them for a little more dimension.

Everything is from the kit including the little bow and the flowers, all I have added is some silver mirror card and some candi from my stash.

A Good Friend

Whilst I was over at Craftsuprint looking for a quick card for a young boy I managed to pop a few other designs in my basket and this is one of them - who would think that I am ready for some warmer weather!

This is another kit that contains everything that you need, including decoupage layers.

I added some purple card stock and an extra layer.  I have not added a sentiment as I am not sure who this card is going to be for yet.  I used the insert that is included in the kit to decorate the inside of my card.

Birthday Boy

I needed a quick card for a young boy so I popped over to Craftsuprint and found this super design.

Everything you need is included in the kit, I just added some blue card stock.  There are several layers of decoupage so I could do a bit of my favourite fussy cutting.

I used foam pads to layer everything up to create some dimension and decorated the inside of my card.

I hope everyone is still enjoying the Christmas break, we went to the Cinema last night to see the latest Star Wars Film, it was very good - I'm looking forward to the Han Solo spin-off in the spring.

Spring Tulips

I think the title of this blog post is wishful thinking!  It's freezing cold here and we had our first snow of the year in the night - not much though as you can see from the photograph below.

I have a spring card to share today, I have used a sheet from one of Joanna Sheen's Jane Shasky Card Making Pads.

I added some papers from Joanna's Jane Shasky CD and some blue card stock.

There are some decoupage layers and I added some butterflies and a sentiment that were also on the sheet - I cut the smaller butterfly from the backing paper.

I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas, I had a lovely time celebrating with my family but I think I have definitely overindulged a little.

Happy Christmas Mum

This is the card that I have created for my Mum this year.

I have used a decoupage topper from Jayne Nestorenko that has been in my stash for ages and used the largest die from my Sue Wilson Ornate Holly Framed Noel die to frame the image.

The papers are from the First Edition - The Gift of Christmas paper pad and the sentiment is from LOTV.  I decorated the inside of my card using the same design as the front.

I would like to enter this card into:

Christmas Gifts

This is the card that I have created for my Mother-in-Law, I have to admit that it is not one of my favourite cards but I know that she will like it.

I used an image from a Hunkydory Little Book and the papers and tags are from an older Hunkydory Christmas collection.  The Christmas sentiment is a Britannia die from Joanna Sheen and the Mum is a Simon Says Stamp die.

Birthday Boy

This is the card that I made for my youngest son to give his brother for his Birthday, he was twenty two yesterday.

I used my Crafter's Companion Camden Town Male CD.  I printed the topper several times and layered it up on some black card stock.  I cut the letters from several different sentiments from the CD and also added some black card stock behind them.  I used foam pads to attach everything and added a couple of buttons from my stash.

I used another topper and some white card stock to decorate the inside.

Pink and Girly

I have another Birthday card to share today, I have used my Crafter's Companion  Sugar and Spice CD again and created another girly card, there are two toppers on each page and it seemed a shame to waste one!

I printed the topper twice again and cut out the image so that I could layer it up on a scalloped circle, I  added some dimension with foam pads.  The sentiment is also from the CD, I have just added some pearls from my stash.

Traditional Christmas

I'm back to Christmas cards today.  I saw a card similar to this on Pinteret and decided to create my own version.

I used Kraft card stock and papers from the First Edition - A Christmas Story paper pad.  The star is a Tonic die and the banner is a Die-namics Fishtail Flags die.

The Poinsettia is a Sue Wilson die along with the Pine Bough and the Sentiment and Holly are Joanna Sheen dies.  I cut the sentiment several times and layered it up for dimension.

Party Dress

Our family have a few Birthdays in December so I thought I would have a break from Christmas cards and share one of the Birthday cards I have created.

I have used my Crafter's Companion  Sugar and Spice CD to make this girly card, there are lots of pretty toppers and papers on this CD.

I printed the topper twice and cut out the image so that I could layer it up on a scalloped circle and add some dimension with foam pads.  The sentiment is also from the CD, I have just added some pearls from my stash.

Musical Robins

I have another very quick Christmas card to share today, nice and flat so perfect for posting.

I have used a LOTV image and added a sentiment from Pink Petticoat, now trading as The Lovely Studio.

I cut my image out with a Tonic die and mounted it onto a piece of blue tartan paper from an old edition of Making Cards Magazine.

Thank you for visiting my blog today, your company is much appreciated - I will be back tomorrow with something  a little more elaborate.

Hooray it's your Birthday

This is another card that I have created with the latest Julie Loves Creativity Box.

I used a hexagon topper so I decided to cut two of the papers into hexagon shapes as well.  I backed everything with purple card stock and cut the name from one of the papers.  The large stars are from the die cuts and I punched the small star.

I also decorated the inside of the card.
