Leafy Accents

This is my second card for this weeks Less is More Challenge - it's one layer card week and the theme is Leaves.

I used a Clearly Besotted stamp to create this card.  I heat embossed it with white embossing powder and then applied distress ink.

I tried to create a neat edge but messed it up so I cut it out with my Tattered Lace Peach Sorbet Square die and then cut a panel from my card front using the same die so that I could inlay my image.  The sentiment is a Craftwork Cards stamp.

I would like to enter this card into the Less is More Challenge 319 - One Layer Card - Leaves.

Thank you for calling today, your company is much appreciated.

  5. Hi Pauline

A really gorgeous card .. .. and one that could be used for lots of occassions. It would make for a great "teeny, tiny" one! LOL!!

You have been posting some lovely cards.

I am enjoying a few days of blogging and general crafting .. .. but it isn't going to last long. The last of the deliveries I need for my happy couples is scheduled to land today .. .. so I will be changing hats once again!

    Have a lovely day.

    Love Jules xx

  27. Very pretty with the crisp white leaves embossed on this spring green. I love the shaped square with the 'zigzag' stitching, and think your final design of the square turned out perfectly. TFS & Hugs
