Leaf Print

It's one layer week over at Less is More and when I saw that the theme is Leaves I decided to do something that I used to do with my children when they were small - Leaf Printing.

I picked a leaf whilst out for a walk and inked it up with two different green distress inks, I then placed it on a card base, placed a piece of scrap paper on top and pressed it down firmly.

To complete my really CAS card I just added a Craftwork Cards stamped sentiment.

I would like to enter this card into the Less is More Challenge 319 - One Layer Card - Leaves.

Thank you for calling today, your company is much appreciated.

  23. Nothing as gorgeous as Mother Nature, Pauline. I love using leaves in so many ways - they make most projects so much better! When I used to do pottery, it was great fun to press leaves into the soft clay, and allow the kiln to burn them off in the first firing. Then I'd use a variety of glazing techniques to highlight the pretty leaf patterns. Your card is BEAUTIFUL! hugs, de

  30. Perfect! Your leaf is realistic! Funny how that is, huh? This is nicer than squishing the heck out of the leaf in a die cut machine.
