Feelin' Hot! Hot! Hot!

It's time for a new challenge at CD Sunday and the theme for the next fortnight is Hot! Hot! Hot! chosen by Jocelyn.  Don’t forget to use something from a CD somewhere, however small, in the making of your card or project and give the CD credit.

I used a fun decoupage image from Joanna Sheen's House Mouse Decoupage CD, along with papers from Joanna's Royal Horticultural Society Collection CD.


I also added some Bearly Mine Designs Papers and stamped the striped papers.  I inked the edges of the papers and for texture I added some corrugated card stock.


The sentiment is also from the House Mouse CD and the twine is from my stash.

    Wonderful layout Pauline love the texture and the layers, feel sorry for the little guy trying to cool the heat in his mouth down though.

    Oh - he does look in distress. I can't eat chillies so I am in full sympathy - although I used chillies on my card as well.

    Haha, this card would be perfect for my hubby, he loves to cook with chili, and even though I love his food I sometimes feel like doing like the mouse, putting the whole face in water, lol.

    Fun image and sentiment! This CD has fabulous images.
    Still have not braved trying one yet but have a computer literate friend who has offered to try to help. She is not a cardmaker but can perhaps help me with resizing etc.

    I love the House Mouse designs and covet their CD very much. However I don't have a printer so that would just make me crazy missing out on all those cool designs. Love you card. Hot, hot, hot indeed! Love those banners!
