Special Wishes

Less is More is celebrating it's 5th Birthday this week so I had to make a card and join the celebrations.

I've actually made two cards and I'm not particularly happy with either of them, I will share this one today.  I have used the Beautiful Butterfly Dance die from Sarah Davies' Signature Collection.


I used a Memory box stencil to emboss the background and the leaves are a Britannia Die, the sentiment stamp is from Craftwork Cards and has been embossed.


I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Less is More - White on White
Crafter's Cafe Challenge 142 - Monochromatic
Sparkle N Sprinkle February Challenge -  Anything Goes: use loose glitter, embossing powder and/or flocking

    It's a really beautiful card Pauline and different to your usual makes (that's probably why you're not happy with it) but I think it's a wonderful design xx

    I think it's really pretty! It's a bit different from your normal style, so maybe that's why you are not feeling the love. I know whenever I try a new technique or card style, I feel that way too.

    I'm sorry you are not happy with this card, but I can assure you whoever is lucky enough to receive it will be thrilled. I think it is just stunning. Terrific use of that stencil and your gold looks gorgeous. Can't wait to see the other card you are not so happy with because I'm sure the rest of us with love that one also. Enjoy the day.

    The white on white is so elegant. I can see the sticking point is the delicate weave of the butterfly conflicting with the stenciled background. It is still a lovely card though.
