This is my card for this weeks Less is More Challenge.  It's their 200th Challenge and the theme is Celebrate - many congratulations to Chrissie and the team.

My inspiration came from another card made by Laura Bassen, I absolutely love her work.

The celebrate is a Die-namics die cut, I cut it out three times and layered them up.  The stars are an X-cut die and the gold card stock and gold glittered mesh are from my stash.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Less is More - Celebrations
Creative Knockouts Challenge 65 - All that Glitters
Southern Girls Challenge - Celebrations

Snow Friends

It's time for a new challenge at Paper Creator's Crafts and the theme for the challenge is All About Christmas - Paper Creator products are not essential but you will gain an extra entry for using them

I have made two fun Chrsitmas cards to give to my Great Nephews, I have used the Jumble Pyramage images from Set 6 and Set 8 of the Snow Friends collection .

Each kit includes - 1 Paper & Greetings Sheet, 1 Topper & Jumble Pyramage Sheet, 1 Insert, 1 Envelope Front and 1 Envelope Back.

I kept my cards quite simple as they are for young children, using just the topper sheet and the envelope back for my backing paper.

The layers are straight, it's just the angle of the photographs that make them look out of line.

I would like to enter these cards into the following challenges:

Brown Sugar Challenge 122 - Anything Goes
Crafty Catz Challenge - Anything Goes
Digitally Sweet Challenge 116 - Anything Goes
Fussy and Fancy Challenge 128 - Happy Holidays

Dies and Punches
We would like to see at least one die and one punch used on your creations.

I coloured my image with ProMarkers and added lots of glitter before cutting her out with a scalloped circle die and layering her onto a circle die cut.

The papers and sentiment are from the Simple Stories Cozy Christmas collection, I used a Woodware corner punch to shape the corners of the sentiment.

Finally I added a bow tied with green ribbon from my stash with a punched snowflake on top.  I punched three snowflakes with a tonic punch and glued them together to make it more substantial - the pearl in the middle of the snowflake is from my stash.

Merry Penguins

This is my card for this weeks Less is More challenge, the theme is Jingle all the Way!, but it does say 'anything Christmassy' so hopefully my card will be OK.

My inspiration came from a card by Laura Bassen, I have used stamps from Lawn Fawn and also their Stitched Hillside Borders die.

I only had a single penguin stamp and as I wanted the penguins to be looking at each other I stamped onto acetate and took an image from that as well as stamping one normally, I then coloured my penguins with ProMarkers and inked the sky lightly with distress ink.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Less is More Week 199 - Jingle all the Way!
Crafting When We Can Challenge 83 - Clean and Simple
Quirky Crafts Challenge 24 - Going Around in Quirky Circles

I have used a fabulous image from Joanna Sheen's House-Mouse Three Wise Mice Christmas Stamp set.

I coloured my image with ProMarkers and used papers from the NitWit Collections Festive Trimmings paper pack.  The Pine Boughs are a Sue Wilson die and the Holly is a Punch Bunch punch, I added some white paint and glitter to the edges.

I'm not sure where the snowflake dies came from, I added double sided tape to some card stock before I cut them out and then added glitter.  The gems and little snow balls are from my stash.

My Pyramid Decoupage image and papers are from the collection called Holly Wreath.  The sentiment is from Pink Petticoat printed onto the backing paper and cut out with my Die-namics Fishtail Flag dies. Christmas Bird

I have made this card to add to my Christmas cards for neighbours, I really do need to get on and do some serious Christmas card making - I'm all behind as usual!

I think I might change the Sue Wilson poinsettia for a slightly smaller one, it overwhelms the image a little doesn't it.

Merry and Bright

This is my second card for this weeks Less is More Challenge, the theme is MORE THAN ONE TREE.

This card was so difficult to photograph because of all the sparkle and shine.

I used my Simon Says Stamp Falling Snow stencil and some Pearlescent Embossing Paste to create the background and my Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside border dies for the snow covered hills.

The trees are from the Lawn Fawn Critters in the Forest collection and the sentiment is from the Lawn Fawn Snow Day collection, both have been embossed the Platinum Sparkle embossing powder.

I cut the Forest Border in some DCWV silver glitter card and also in white card stock and pieced them together to make my tree background.  I then used my Simon Says Stamp Holiday Frame die to cut the Merry Christmas frame.  They have both been layered onto some more silver glitter card and I added a simple silver twine bow.

Dotty Balloons

I made this card for my eldest son to give to a friend on her birthday, she is not a girly sort of girl so I thought the Simon Says Stamp Balloon Dies would be ideal.

I die cut the balloons from Bearly Mine Designs Mini Dots papers and triple embossed them with clear embossing powder.  I used my Die-namics Fishtail Flag dies to cut the banners and the sentiment is from Clearly Bessotted.  The same papers and dies as my previous card HERE but a completely different look.

Wish upon a star!

This is my card for this weeks Less is More Challenge - it's one layer week and the theme is Starry, Starry Night!, they would like to see stars somewhere.

I saw a card on the Hero Arts blog using snowflakes and thought I would give it a go with stars, the only problem was I didn't have a stamp to do it with.  I decided to die cut a selection of stars from some masking paper and adhere them to some water colour card stock, I then used a VersaMark ink pad to ink over the masks and added some gold embossing powder.  It was all rather messy and it doesn't look much like the Hero Arts one but never mind.

The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted, also embossed with the gold embossing powder.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Less is More - Starry, Starry Night!
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - We're seeing Stars
CHNC Challenge 202 - Keep it flat
Crimbo Crackers Challenge 69 - Clean and Simple

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog and leave a comment, your company is much appreciated.
