Wish upon a star!

This is my card for this weeks Less is More Challenge - it's one layer week and the theme is Starry, Starry Night!, they would like to see stars somewhere.

I saw a card on the Hero Arts blog using snowflakes and thought I would give it a go with stars, the only problem was I didn't have a stamp to do it with.  I decided to die cut a selection of stars from some masking paper and adhere them to some water colour card stock, I then used a VersaMark ink pad to ink over the masks and added some gold embossing powder.  It was all rather messy and it doesn't look much like the Hero Arts one but never mind.

The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted, also embossed with the gold embossing powder.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Less is More - Starry, Starry Night!
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - We're seeing Stars
CHNC Challenge 202 - Keep it flat
Crimbo Crackers Challenge 69 - Clean and Simple

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog and leave a comment, your company is much appreciated.
