Me + You

This is a little card I have made just for fun, I love these adorable little Lawn Fawn Owls.

Everything on this card is from Lawn Fawn - the papers, the stamps, the twine and even the little hearts were cut with a Lawn Fawn die.  I coloured the adorable owls with ProMarkers, there is a die to go with them but I decided to cut them out by hand because I didn't want the little white border around the outside.  I die cut the log from wood grain paper and added the little leaves that were also coloured with ProMarkers.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Crafty Sentiments Challenge - Love
Party Time Tuesdays Challenge 161 - Anything Goes
The Cutie Pie Challenge 73 - Cute with Spots and Dots
QKR Stampede Weekly Challenge 76 - Friends are Special

Dreaming of Spring

When I saw the challenge theme over at the CD Sunday Challenge Blog this week, I immediately thought of my Joanna Sheen Jayne Netley Mayhew CD and the wonderful Bird images that are on it - I always think spring must be nearly here when the birds return to the garden.

I chose to use a wonderful decoupage image and papers from the CD for my card.

The dotty papers are from Bearly Mine Designs and the sentiment is from Pink Petticoat.  I cut out an additional flower and decoupaged that as well.

You can see the decoupage layers in this photograph.

I also decorated the inside of my card with the papers from the CD.

It's time for our mid challenge reminder at the House-Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge and this fortnight we have a Colour Challenge - Amethyst, White, plus one other colour chosen by Donna.

For my card I've used a fabulous digi image from Joanna Sheen's House Mouse Triple CD and had another go at water colouring.  It took me several attempts to colour this adorable image as the ink kept smudging, because it had been printed I assume - I had to keep things really dry.

My papers are from Pink Petticoat, the sentiment tags are from LOTV and the punched border is my Fiskars Edge Punch. I die cut my flower and added a button, twine and ribbon from my stash.

We have two fabulous sponsors this time:

Mad about GOLF

This is my card for this weeks Less is More Challenge, the theme is MASCULINE.

I've had this Woodware stamp in my stash for some time now and decided it deserved to be inked up.

I stamped it once onto white card stock and then stamped the individual letters onto papers from the Pink Paislee Old School collection, I debossed the golf ball with my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder and coloured the golf club with ProMarkers, then it was just a matter of sticking them all onto the stamped base and adding a little water coloured grass to ground everything.

Finally, I managed to make a card for my son to give to his girlfriend that he liked - he really is getting fussy in his old age!

Valentine Blueprint

This is the valentine card that I made for my husband, he's not a cute and cuddly sort of guy - I suppose it wouldn't really do much for his image as he teaches Martial Arts and is a black belt in both Taekwondo and Korean Kickboxing, so I broke out the Tim Holtz Valentine Blueprint collection.

I love Tim's Blueprint images, I've collected quite a few, so you could be seeing a lot more cards made with them in the future.

The base papers are from the Bearly Mine Designs Vintage Fantasy collection, I used distress inks and a Creative Expressions mask to create the large spots and stamped the Cupid image in one corner.  I stamped the '14' image and added some colour with ProMarkers.

Some left over hearts from when I was trying to make a card for my eldest to give his girlfriend, a circular stamp from the Mama Elephant 'Confetti' collection and a die cut corner have been added.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - We Love Stamps

If only ...

If only it was beach weather - the weather is a lot calmer here today, sun and showers, but absolutely freezing, so I thought I'd post a card with a beach hut on it!

Christmas Robin

This is the last Christmas card from 2013 that I haven't posted yet.  I made similar ones for my Mum and Dad that I posted HERE just before Christmas, this one was for my Mother-in-Law.

On the ones for my Mum and Dad I used red card stock, but I ran out of the red so I used green on this one - I think I actually prefer the green.

I have used another gorgeous Robin topper, I added some glitter to give it some sparkle. The papers are from the Docrafts Little Red Robin Collection and the sentiment is LOTV stamped and embossed with silver embossing powder. The punched border is an X-cut punch and the ivy is a Die'sire die cut. The poinsettias have been made with a Spellbinders die and the paper bow is a Lil' Inker die.

I decorated the inside using the same papers and design.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Creative Moments Challenge 35 - Anything Goes/Add some Sparkle
Simply Create Too Challenge 53 - Mother's Day or for a Female

This adorable coloured Pink Gem Designs image is called Love Owls, the gingham papers are a scrap that I had in my stash.  I think the sentiment is LOTV, but I'm not sure, I stamped it in white and clear embossed it on a hand cut banner.  The scalloped border is my new Die-namics Mini Scallop Edging Border die and the hearts are a Lawn Fawn die.

From a Friend!

You might remember that I used to be on the Crafting for All Seasons Design Team up until Christmas when I took the difficult decision to cut back on my DT commitments and left the team. Well, I couldn't stay away completely so I 'm back this week as a Guest Designer.

The challenge theme for the fortnight is 'Show us Some Romance' and I have made a card with a fabulous stamp that I received from a crafting friend.

Ellen - The Serendipitous Stamper, went to the CHA this year and brought back lots crafty goodies to share with her followers as Candy on her blog - I was lucky enough to win the adorable Art Impressions Valentot Heart Stamp.

I decided to water colour, which I don't do very often, I followed the design on the packaging and I have to say I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.

My papers are LOTV along with the sentiment tags.  I cut the little hearts with a Lawn Fawn die and the punched border is a very old Fiskars punch.

I decorated the inside of my card using the leftover papers.

The sponsor this time is :

and the prize is 4 non coloured images

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Crafty Sentiments Challenge - Love is in the Air
Shopping Our Stash Challenge 137 - Love Me Tender (stash ribbon/papers)
