From a Friend!

You might remember that I used to be on the Crafting for All Seasons Design Team up until Christmas when I took the difficult decision to cut back on my DT commitments and left the team. Well, I couldn't stay away completely so I 'm back this week as a Guest Designer.

The challenge theme for the fortnight is 'Show us Some Romance' and I have made a card with a fabulous stamp that I received from a crafting friend.

Ellen - The Serendipitous Stamper, went to the CHA this year and brought back lots crafty goodies to share with her followers as Candy on her blog - I was lucky enough to win the adorable Art Impressions Valentot Heart Stamp.

I decided to water colour, which I don't do very often, I followed the design on the packaging and I have to say I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.


My papers are LOTV along with the sentiment tags.  I cut the little hearts with a Lawn Fawn die and the punched border is a very old Fiskars punch.

I decorated the inside of my card using the leftover papers.

    Oh Wow! this is gorgeous Pauline… what a sweet image and you've painted it so beautifully!! I love the pretty papers and heart border!
    glad you got the roof done before the rain.. it's truly awful weather!! we are having a stairlift fitted, they have to do electrics and woodwork today. Will be glad when it's all done and hope it all goes smoothly! :-)

    Crafting for All Seasons is very lucky to have you back as a GDT member. This card is just adorable. Love the way you made your sentiment up and that paper is so sweet. Of course the image is just adorable and you did a great job water coloring it. Enjoy your day.
