Stars and Banners

This is my card for this weeks Seize the Birthday challenge, I didn't manage to make a card for last weeks challenge, but I was determined to get one done for this week because it's the Masculine challenge.

My card is for a young boy and I have used papers from the Doodlebug design snips & snails paper pad.  I cut the banners by hand and used a variety of punches and dies for the stars.  The border punch is a Fiskars one that I got half price from Debbi Moore Designs and I have used some Bakers Twine and buttons to embellish along with a sentiment stamp from Clearly Besotted.

My inspiration for this card came from one I saw on StampNation - I had intended for it to be CAS but it hasn't turned out like that!  You can see the layers and dimension a little more in this photograph:

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Charisma Cardz Challenge 10 - Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star
Little Miss Muffet Challenge 56 - Boys only
Chocolate, Coffee and Cards Challenge 34 - Banners
Daring Card Makers - Make a cute angle
Stampin' for the Weekend - Child's Play
Critter Sketch Challenge 155 - Twine
One Stop Craft Challenge 220 - Anything Goes
Seize the Birthday Challenge 10 - Masculine Birthday and Sketch

Thank you for calling today, have a great weekend.
