My card is for a young boy and I have used papers from the Doodlebug design snips & snails paper pad. I cut the banners by hand and used a variety of punches and dies for the stars. The border punch is a Fiskars one that I got half price from Debbi Moore Designs and I have used some Bakers Twine and buttons to embellish along with a sentiment stamp from Clearly Besotted.
My inspiration for this card came from one I saw on StampNation - I had intended for it to be CAS but it hasn't turned out like that! You can see the layers and dimension a little more in this photograph:
