Spring Chick

It's time for our Monthly Challenge Midway Reminder at Forever Friends and this month our theme is - LOTS OF FLOWERS.  I have made two cards this month and this is the second one using a gorgeous image from Digi Stamp Characters one of our sponsors this month:


I have coloured my image with ProMarkers and created the cloudy background with distress inks.  The papers are My Mind's Eye - Howdy Doody and everything has been layered onto Kraft card stock.  I followed the sketch from Sketch Saturday and kept things quite simple, just adding some flowers and buttons from my stash.

    You've done such a great job inking the sky, and it's really sweet image too! I would never have been able to color her dress as well as you did here - it would have been a case of "paper piecing must" for me!
