Life is Beautiful

I have finally concluded my battle with Dyson and had time to play with my Mintay Farmlife collection.

I have been fighting with Dyson for over two months since my V11 Cordless decided to stop working, it as still under warranty, they now have this remote diagnostic and repair service - well that certainly doesn't work very well!

They wrongly diagnosed the fault, sent the incorrect part, lost the filter from my V11 when it was returned to their workshop, no replacement filters available, sent more replacement bits that did not have a filter, replaced the V11 with a new V15 that had a fault, eventually, replaced V15 with a V11 Outize which actually works but is so heavy I can only clean one room at a time because of my Rheumatoid Arthritis.  I give up, I don't think I will be buying anything from Dyson ever again!

Anyway, this is the card that I created.

I used several of the papers from the Farmlife collection, I distressed the edges for a country feel.  All of the flowers and bits and pieces were fussy cut from the collection and I cut the frame with my Tonic Studios Circles Scribble Frame, the sentiment is from Hunkydory.

Thank you for popping in today, your company is much appreciated - please leave a comment so that I can come and visit you.

I found Dyson machines heavy and now use a Shark which I found much lighter but just as powerful

  15. What rot ton customer service Pauline, but with Dyson I'm not surprised at all, I think the owner is a horrid man, advocated for Brexit then abandoned the Uk to get cheap slave labour abroad.
I have a GTech and when something went wrong, I phoned, they identified the part and got it out without charge, wonderful, and light to use.
Your card is so beautiful, love the topper and papers, Kate x

  21. A beautiful card with those lovely flowers and distressed edges. So sorry about your woes with Dyson - it sounds much like my experience with Trac-fone! Guarantees are worthless in this day and age it seems.

  22. So pretty. that was a lot of fusscy cutting! nWow!

I have a 2004 model of dyson. I love it. Hubby had to send for parts about 10 years ago and fixed it for me, and it's still running and working just fine for me. Don't know how true it is...but I was told that the older models are the best! But I think that is true of most things these days. They just don't make things like they used to...

  28. Great card with lovely papers. It says spring is coming so I'm encouraged. We'll see. I understand your frustration with Dyson. I can't imagine how they thought a remote repair service would actually work! Plus having to wait while parts go back and forth in the mail. Good grief!
