Chill Out

Can you tell I am dreaming about warm summer days, the only trouble is, when summer arrives I will be complaining about the heat - there is no pleasing some people!

I decided to use my Mintay Suntastic collection to create this card, I used papers from the 6 x 6 paper pad and fussy cut the elements from the 12 x 12 paper pad, the sentiment and little banner are from the Cardboard Sticker sheet.  I used my Tattered Lace Fleurs dies to cut the flowers from some of the papers and added a twine messy bow.

I haven't spent much time crafting recently, it is so cold me and hubby have been lighting our wood burning stove and sitting in the warm reading and watching films - it makes a nice change.

Thank you for popping in today, your company is much appreciated - please leave a comment so that I can come and visit you.

  15. I so look forward to summer. The worst months in my opinion are January and February, with short days, darkness, cold or raw weather.
I love what you’ve done with these papers, I’ve got the sheet you used for the cut outs, so this card is a good source of inspiration on how to use it.

  19. Sitting in front of the wood burning stove sounds wonderful. It is so cold here too and those stoves put out so much wonderful heat. This card is perfect to start thinking of summer with the sailboat and scooter. The blooming flowers help too!

  30. This one's beautiful too, that really is a lovely collection. Although the temperatures arehigher, it still feels cold because it's so dull and grey. We removed the timber from the barn in the summer so we have been burning that, it's such a nicer heat than central heating xx
