Essex Birthday

This is the card that I created for my youngest son to give his brother for his Birthday at the Weekend.  It's difficult to know what theme to choose for Matthew, he loves music but I always seem to do that so I chose to make a card with a map of Essex, he moved there earlier in the year.

I found the map on the internet and used my Hunkydory Alphabet dies to create an eclipse style card, I added a computer generated sentiment.

  12. This is so unique and perfect for your son's birthday! I love the name eclipsed right over the map, and for the life of me, I've never been able to figure out how to computer generate a white on black sentiment like you've done here! Fabulous card!

  17. What a fantastic and wonderfully creative idea. I have always found maps highly interesting and love to wear them into my paper crafting, too. This brilliant way to work them is getting saved straight to my inspiration file. Thank you so much for sharing it, sweet Pauline.
