SSS Card Kit - September 2012

Yes, my blog title is correct, I used a Simon Says Stamp card kit from September 2012 to create this card.  I have quite a few card kits from 2012 and 2013 and I am determined to use them - to be honest, I need the space in my craft room.

I used the patterned papers and a sheet of cardstock from the card kit, I cut the banners with my Die-namics Fishtail Flag dies and used my Tim Holtz rosette die to create the rosette, I just made it a little smaller.  I added a sentiment from Lisa Horton along with a button and some twine.

Thank you for visiting my blog today, please leave a comment so that I can come and visit you.

  18. Way to go! I think that's fantastic. This notion that every project one makes/shares must be made with the absolute latest releases has never jived with me personally and I absolutely delight in reaching for older products as well as newcomers in my stash.

This card is an upbeat gem and a great reminder to us all to let our craft supplies from past decades get ample play as well.

  23. The kit might be nearly a decade old, but these patterns haven't grown out of style. And the rosette, I love it, and you reminded me I have a TH die for this...
